I would have to say that geek squads expertise, while it may be wide ranging, is not expertise at all. Ive had many experiences with these guys, and have just now started reading all of the reviews about them. With the thousands and thousands of negative reviews its hard to see why anyone still takes their machines to them. \r

I had to consult an outside company just to get my machine back up and running after Geek Squad was unable to remove all of the viruses that had infected my machine. \r

The technician, Keith, at Secure Remote Support was able to properly diagnose my machine and remove all of the virus with the first shot. I went back to best buy and told the manager this but they wouldnt refund my money. I even had a signed receipt and everything from the technician showing me what he had done. Obivous proof, but they wouldnt do anything about it. \r

My .02, get a quote somewhere else. Its hard to find a company you can trust. Secure Remote Support is one of them in my opinion. Geek squad is definitlely not.\r
