After being called at least 4 times to verify the appointment (very annoying), when my husband went in only the hygienist was there. He had forgotten his new insurance card and but gave her the insurance company name. A different dentist office had previously been able to verify benefits with only that information. However, this office was unable to do that and told my husband he'd have to pay in full before services and could get the money from his insurance later. My husband didn't want to do that, so the hygienist suggested that he reschedule for another time when he had his insurance straightened out. He agreed. Everything was fine until they sent us a bill for $50 for ""broken appointment"". I called the office back to explain what happened and they wouldn't budge on the bill, saying that they had to pay the hygienist for her time. My own dentist's office verified that this is ridiculous. We are not paying the money and will NEVER go back! I would encourage people not to go to this office unless you want to be erroneously billed for following their suggestions!
