May I rate this and its WA corporate, as 10 stars BELOW zero?
Having just moved back to WA, and looking forward to trying places new to me, I visited this location about 6 weeks ago. The person taking my order, was extremely rude, would not answer any simple questions, and the staff seemed to be unprofessional also.
* I did not receive the extra cheese as I ordered.
* The pizza tasted plain and blah, not gourmet in any sense of the word.
* The crust was bland and burnt.
* I left very hungry, though I ate most of the pizza.
So I contacted the corporate, through their website, and gave proof of my receipt, and politely asked for a refund. Eventually they emailed back, stating that these are owned by franchises and they could not give a refund, but would be most happy to send me a coupon for a free pizza. They did not say that they would contact the store to correct the problem.
The coupon never arrived, though I had given my address, obviously.
So, I sent another email a week or so later, yet no response. I called them and the man in charge, (again, at their WA corporate office), said he would call me back. Instead he emailed, to me, having found my emails, saying I had not given them my address, blaming me. I kindly wrote back saying that I had given it to them, as well as forwarding the email I sent of two weeks earlier. I have yet to receive a coupon for the hideous experience, and doubtless, never will.
Later, I learned from someone else, that they had had a bad experience at this store also. In Bellevue, most businesses are very reputable and ethical. I suppose Garlic Jims, will end up like those who treated customer service poorly.
