First off, this place has a nasty odor...feels like you are walking around inside a dirty shoe. I felt like I had slim all over me any time I touched anything. When I was in there (very briefly) there were cops everywhere and finally arrested a man in plain site....it just feels like there is alot of shenanigans going on there.....will not be visiting again.... I went to gameworks for the first time today. I heard it was kind of expensive but they have this deal where you can get food and a gmae card that is good for three hours. If you like to play games it is a good deal. It's a cool place for downtown happy hour because its not boring. The deal was for $15.00 more

I met with the ""Director of Sales"" to plan an event and was completely turned off by her presentation (and gum chewing). Not only was she extremely rude and arrogant, but I felt like she was just out to make money off our event. She was completely lacking customer service skills and was very unprofessional. I wasn't about to host an event with someone like her.\r \r Not only that; but the server in the restaurant was just as arrogant and rude. I can't stand when a server comes to my table and just takes my order without any hello or leaves me with an empty glass for the majority of my meal.\r \r I was assuming the the people working at GameWorks would have great personalities and be fun to work with, but that was far from the case with both of these characters. I wasn't expecting the red-carpet to be rolled out, but come on, this is an entertainment venue....let's be entertaining!\r \r GameWorks needs some lessons in Customer Service! more

I recently planned my company party at GameWorks and my group had a great time! The sales staff were outstanding to work with and made everything very easy for me. The food was great and the entertainment provided was by far better than any event I have planned elsewhere! The staff was so helpful and friendly with all the games and bowling lanes too! I joined some friends on a Friday after work for a Happy Hour. One person ordered an appetizer at 5:15 and I ordered a tap beer at 5:50. At 6:20, neither had been brought to the table. I had to go to the bar and ask the bartender if he could please find our server. The appetizer was extremely small and tasteless. There was a radio station there doing a promo and it was so extremely loud in there, you could not hear the person next to you. I will NOT return. Cons: Parking, Service, Food more

Nice place to go with a group of friends who have had a few already and can enjoy a night of skee-ball and video games to see what they can buy with 1,500 tickets. If you go, get the bucket of beer for around $13, that's the best deal. If you're looking to do shots, don't even think of doing them here, as 4 shots of Jager cost us over $30. Loud. Smokey. Loud. Fun. This place is fun bordering on obnoxious, but throw in a few drinks and you've got a recipe for a good time. Upstairs I saw people playing video bowling next to people actually bowling (i thought i was in the running man for a second). It appears that every video game nowdays is a racing game where you sit on something that moves, which is fine with me since it is a fun measure of how well the gimlets are working. But they have skeeball and centipede and this addictive horse racing game. Of course if I had kids, I would not bring them here in a million years...except maybe 8am on a Monday.
