Game Force Of Mandarin

This used to be a top notch game store but ever since the midget with the Napoleon complex took over it's been bad. I waited 2 months for this store to stock a common Wii title because I had earned credit there that I wanted to spend. Their distributor apparently could not provide the title even though every other store in Jacksonville had it in stock. The "Dwarf" in charge likes to verbally abuse his customers and his apparent girlfriend who is taller than him and occasionally assists knows NOTHING about games! If you ask her ambush questions like "when is this game coming out" she shuts down and then complains to the dwarf who then accuses you of giving his woman a hard time. It would be comical if it wasn't true. The new management is awful and the store is a shadow of what it once was. The outstanding customer service and knowledge that used to be provided here is no longer provided. Until things change I wouldn't waste gasoline visiting this place because they don't have any new releases on time and no one trades good games there anymore because of the hassle. I've spent a long time buying my games from this store. Dan (a long time manager of the place) was always very knowledgeable and helpful; however, this store is apparently under new management. The short, arrogant, gun bearing redneck behind the counter has ruined this game store for me. The 50% off voucher available at my jax deals is NOT being honored on the release dates of new games. After being told the game is available for my format I presented the voucher. The guy then said we're not accepting the voucher for this game as they are ALL spoken for. We will accept it tomorrow if we still have any left. Nowhere on the voucher is there a restriction re: new releases. The voucher for 50% off is a great deal as long as you aren't trying to purchase a title on it's release date. more

They don't have all the games that the chain stores have, but they have a wide variety of newer and older games. They will also take most trade ins, so you can take your rarer games there. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and you can use their in store systems to see the games before you buy them. Prices are on par if not less than the chain game stores. more
