A card store 12/3/2005

This is local neighborhood stationery store. It carries an awful lot of cards and office supplies. When you walk in it doesn't look like much but has wall to wall greeting cards for every occasion and office supplies. If you don't find the office supplies you need, you can always ask them to order it and it will be in their store the very next day. They have great service and are always willing to please the customer. more

This is a fun store where you can not only purchase supplies for your office but there are lots of greeting cards and gift items. A lot of personalized items and uniquely crafted gifts (like plush giraffe grow chart) to potpourri to glycerin soaps to candles. It's a sweet-smelling store. more

Nice stuff 7/18/2005

They got lots of all sorts of things. My friends always love going in here to check out new items that are out. I love playing with their music boxes near the front of the counter. They sell tons of office supplies, stationary stuff, home items, and gifts for friends and family. This store is super! more

Fantastic store! 7/14/2005

Gables is one of the best stationary stores in San Francisco. I actually know the owner because he was also a teacher. Very nice and funny guy. The story is very nice and interesting. They have lots of stuff a person can play with. The items they have are very unique. I love the rubber duckies they have near the front of the store. They are friendly and answers any question you have for them. Definitely a store I recommend to friends and family and will go to again. more
