Terrible place to go. 1/9/2011

I had my first experience with Goodyear in Monroeville recently. I needed tires and found a really good deal here, so I went through with it. \r \r When I went to pick up my truck, they told me that my rear brakes were almost shot and would absolutely need replaced within 6000 miles. This was not true. My rear brakes were nearly new as I had just checked them. The rotors were well within tolerance and the brake pads had less than 25% wear. Goodyear would have been more than happy to charge me the $200 to replace them though.\r \r Also, they did not torque my lug nuts appropriately. Many were over-torqued. I could not get the majority off with a 1/2 inch drive impact wrench and broke a 17" Armstrong breaker bar trying to get one off. Not only would this have been inconvenient had I had a flat tire, but this could also warp my rotors. This is probably where the "Your back brakes will need replaced soon." comes in.\r \r I went back to discuss with the store manager, and he refused to more

Do not go here for anything 1/8/2011

Horrible New Customer Experience ... Had Appointment, but No Tires! 12/5/2010

My first experience ordering good year tires from this dealership turned out to be a horrible experience. I definitely will not return!\r \r I wanted good year tires and thought, what better place to do that than at a good year dealer. I made my appointment with rep Kathy, specified tires, and got a quote including a current rebate ($80) from Good Year. She proceeded to schedule me with an appointment that takes place AFTER the rebate has expired, just so that she can be there (commission?). When I arrive for the appointment, the four tires she quoted me had already been sold. She offers no recourse but to re-schedule appointment, and I have by now lost the rebate opportunity. This is extremely disappointing, and enough to drive away a new customer from any further association with this Good Year dealer (if not the tires themselves!) The politeness and reasonably good price on the phone is not followed up by actual (and very basic) customer service! more

they send me reminders to rotate the tires 8/14/2007

I've never been very diligent about rotating my car's tires. And, two brands ago, I paid the price -- the tires wore out long before they should have, but they weren't under warranty because they hadn't been rotated. Goodyear sends me reminders. And, they have long hours, so it's easy for me to get an appointment on my way home from work. more

excellent auto repair company 9/5/2006

Had given my car for service & some repair last summer. They did an excellent job and i was extremely satisfied with their work. The price quote was also cheap compared to others & is located at a very convenient place. They never charged anything extra from that of the price quote. more

I always take my car here and now.... 2/15/2006

I have been using this place to fix my car for YEARS!!! I took it there and had over $1,000 worth of repairs and now I have a leak in the front and a rattle in the back. I called the store and spoke with the manager and OF COURSE none of the repairs that they performed to my car could possibly cause it to leak. Why did I know in the back of my mind that they were going to say that? Mighty funny it was not leaking before. Mighty funny there was no RATTLE before. I HATE a rattling car and now I have one. Who do you trust now with your car repairs? WHO??? I can't honestly recommend a place who will not stand behind or take responsibility for their work. more

An Auto Repairman to TRUST!!! 9/3/2005

I have been having my car serviced at this establishment for some 20 odd years. Down through those years I have seen many changes in employees but NEVER any change in the good quality services. The prices are a little more occasionally but the work is guaranteed. When you take your car there you don't have to worry about it being fixed correctly... you know it is the first time! more
