G & C Carpet & Upholstery

I was called on the phone (I did not seek out this business). I was told G&C was a special running. I was quoted a cost of $119.95 to clean my carpets. Tony also said they cleaned upholstery and would I like that done too. I said, ""Maybe how much will that be?"" Tony said, ""119.95."" I said, ""what is the total coast of both services."" Tony said 119.95. Imagine my surprise after all the work is done I got a bill for $266. The upholstery was an additional $119.95!!! I called and spoke with the owner Greg. I explained the same story. Greg said, ""You are a LIAR. You just want something for nothing. I will turn you into collections and it will ruin your credit."" I have NEVER had anyone talk to me like this. It actually made me cry! He was so rude. I'm reporting them to BBB. more

We previously used G and C to clean the upholstrey on some old couches and clean some spills a few years ago but couldn't remember who did it. They just happen to cold call us when we needed the entire house cleaned before the holidays. Shannon showed up a little early, spent extra couple of minutes on some hard to remove stains and did an amazing job. This time we won't misplace their contact information. Very happy with the job he did. more

I have been a customer for years and have been VERY happy with the customer service and carpet cleaning. Never a problem and I look forward to having them out again! more

Just got what I believe was a cold call from Greg saying he was returning a call from my roommate (he used her formal name) about carpet cleaning. When I informed him we had wood floors he said maybe it was upholstry cleaning. Since she wasn't home at the time, I told him I would ask her about it and have her call him back. He gave a snotty ""Yeah, right"" and hung up on me. I can guarantee you there will definitely not be a call back after that! more

I have never written a public review before, but I am so incensed at the treatment I just received, that it must be shared. I too have been a customer for many years, and when just trying to schedule an appointment I was literally hung up on by the owner Greg. When I called a few weeks ago to schedule a date a few weeks in advance for March, he said it is policy to not accept any appointments more than two weeks out. I just called to try to schedule again, he got very UNREASONABLY angry and hung up on me!? I called back because I really wanted them to clean all the carpets in my two-story home, and he barely let me say a word before hanging up on me again. It just made no sense - there wasn't even a reason for him to get mad at me! I am still stunned by this. It was the craziest encounter. I will never return, obviously, and will find a small business that I can support who values their customers. more

After being a customer for 10 years and enduring mediocre customer service and a less expensive, lower quality cleaner, I finally had enough this summer when I requested a specific cleaner to clean my rugs, my request went unheeded (they really don't care about their customers), and when i said that i felt disappointed about this, Greg, the owner, hung up on me. Six years ago one of their cleaners put a nasty scratch in my leather sofa. Greg did follow up by providing a product to reduce the appearance of the damage. When I said, ""okay, that's a good place to start and we'll see if it works,"" his response was: ""A good place to start?? That's ALL I'm gonna do for you!"" Honestly, do not put your money in their pocket. There are higher integrity, higher quality businesses out there. Pass this one by. Wish I had 6 years ago. more

My carpets look, smell and feel great. Their service was ""spot on"" f rom start to finish. Much attention to detail, such as cleaning under raised furniture and placing barriers between damp carpet and metal table legs, etc. I would definitely recommend them and I plan to have them back again. more
