Best

Been eating here since I was a kid, best pizza in Houston, period.

Worst

Fuzzy's on Kirby has just recently become Fuzzy's on Bellaire, very close to my house. Nevery having tried Fuzzy's before, I took the opportunity to stop on my way home last nigh...

Fuzzy's has hit rock bottom 11/17/2009

This used to be the place for pizza in the medical center/West U area but now has become less than even mediocre. The staff and management are lazy and disgraceful. Waits are long even when I call in my order. The order is wrong once you finally get your food. I could put up with the high prices if the quality of service and product were high, but that is not the case. The owner seems unconcerned over the running of the restaurant and customer care and it shows! I have wriiten off this location forever and you would be wise to consider that too. more

Poor management, expensive for what you get 2/15/2008

The owner of Fuzzy's (now on Bellaire), Jimmy, is an ill-tempered sexist who is only concerned about himself. I will try to remove the bias I have against him in the remainder of this review... Pros: none that are reliable Cons: poor management, long wait for food more

Sexist and Violent management 2/10/2008

I worked at Fuzzy's for two weeks. During the time that I worked there, the owner, Jimmy, called one of the women who worked there a ""Mexican b***h"" and when she pointed at him and yelled told her to ""Give me your hand b***h, I'll cut your hand you b***h."" All of this because she had forgotten to put seasonings on a pizza. Later on, the day I quit, Jimmy took 40 dollars out of my pay check because I have used the wrong abbreviation on an order slip causing the order to be wrong. Pros: Decent pizza Cons: Racism and sexism from the ownership, terrible conditions for workers more

Best? You have got to be kidding! 10/1/2007

Fuzzy's on Kirby has just recently become Fuzzy's on Bellaire, very close to my house. Nevery having tried Fuzzy's before, I took the opportunity to stop on my way home last night. What a nightmare. I waited in line for almost 20 minutes to place my order. The man taking orders (I later learned he was the manager) was so slow, it was painful. They took people out of line (everyone paid at the ONE cash register in use), angering those of us who had been waiting. When I asked how long my order would take (two baked pasta dishes), I was told 20 minutes. So, I paid and sat down to wait... and wait... and wait. It took an HOUR to complete my order, while others who had just ordered pizza after us ate and left. When I complained, the manager just kinda shrugged and mumbled something about being short-staffed. The food was mediocre - the pasta was very thick and chewy and I finally found out there is such a thing as too much cheese. If I try them again, I'll have them deliver. I've seen school cafeterias with more atmosphere and they never did put on the football game as had been requested. Pros: decent parking Cons: service, food, ambiance more

Great Pizza 7/28/2007

Great pizza and salads, even the veggie pizzas are really good... One thing they need is a new TV or more TV's for the big games... Pros: Good Food/Pizza Cons: Need TV's for game time more

Slow service, average pizza for high price 10/7/2006

Our order took a long time and then we got the wrong pizza. The wings were tasteless and small. Would not recommend as there are plenty of better choices in the area. Pros: TV screen Cons: service, food, price more

Best Pizza in Houston 3/1/2006

Been eating here since I was a kid, best pizza in Houston, period. more

No Balance 5/9/2004

The service was OK, hard to rate since we were the only ones. Pizza, like any food, needs balance. This is where Fuzzy's fails. The crust was good, sauce needs more herb and should not be ladled on so heavy, way too much cheese. Lay a slice on your plate and the cheese will puddle up on both sides. Prices were relatively high. Wouldn't have to charge so much if they cut back on the cheese. Pros: Crust Cons: , Too much sauce/cheese more

Fuzzy's Rox! 3/9/2003

Every year my youth group would go down to Houston for a covention called Acqire The Fire, and we would spend the whole weekend there. Well the first year we went, we reserved Boston Market for the evening because we had about 30 people to feed, but when we arrived Boston Market must have forgotten about us because the place was packed! So here we are, tired and hungry, and we started driving around to find some place that would sit 30 starving people. Low and Behold, we saw Fuzzy's Pizza and descided to try it out. Now Fuzzy's has kindly feed us for three years now. It has become our stopping gounds! We can no longer go to Houston without eating at Fuzzy's! more

The best by far 3/7/2003

Forget about the other pizza joints. If you're new to Houston, and don't know where to go, you won't walk away disappointed. By far, the best pizza around is here. more

slice of naughtyness 2/17/2003

Hands down the best pizza in Houston, not including expensive places that shouldn't serve pizza anyway. If like delicious, you'll like Fuzzy's... more

pizza place to try 2/9/2003

I have only been here a couple of times, and it was very good. Pros: inexpensive, good food, fast service Cons: crowded, out of the way more

Great...but better with beer 1/23/2003

Used to go every Saturday night until they lost there beer permit a couple a years ago. Now only on occation but pizza still great but what's pizza without a beer? Hint to management. Pros: great pizza, good parking, smooth service staff Cons: no beer more

Great Pizza!!!! 1/8/2003

Simply put Fuzzy's on Kirby has great pizza. The only thing holding this place back is that they don't sell beer. It is kind of expensive, but it is well worth the $$. more

To each his/her own 12/12/2002

I don't see why this place keeps making it to the top of the list. The pizza is at best average. I really didn't see anything special about this place. Then again, I think the best pizza is New York style, and the ones served here are more of a Chicago, deep-dish style. Just my POV. more

good, so good 12/6/2002

great pizza, needs a fork. best pizza going. not a ""chain"" style pizza. more

best pizza 12/5/2002
