Home Theater Room Installation was Fantastic!!! 6/13/2011

Dustin from Future Tech came out and talked to my husband and I about a theater in our home. We had looked at several in our friends homes and loved them. He gave us options we did not know were even available in Midland. He told us they work with a large well known company in the Austin area called Dynamic Integrations and were able to stay on top of the latest inovations. They installed everything we wanted and coordinated with the cabinet makers and electricians to make sure everything fit. They even set up the room so the lights dim when a movie starts just like a real theater. We have one remote that works everything and is very simple to operate. That was one of my husband's major concerns. We love the room! Everything surpassed our expectations and they are always available to answer any questions we have. Jixxerz is mistaken 12/11/2010

My name is Richard Patterson. My wife, Debbi, and I started this business in 1995. We both have been in retail business most of our life. I have never talked to this jixxerz that left the comment. If he called my store I would have known about it. I have never spoken to him or any customer in the way he described. \r We no longer do installs for Directv because their retailers do lie to there customers. They promise them all kinds of things and then we have to tell the customer that what the retailer told them is not true. We therefore catch the brunt of the customers abuse because of this. \r Jixxerz said we lied about the cost of the install. The installs we provided for Directv were FREE. The Free install includes mount the dish with in 20' of the demark. Run the wire on the outside of the house or in a crawl space under the house. Connect the receivers and activate. Directv tells us what to provide. If the customer wants something more than that, they will have to pay for it. Wall fish or phone jack installed is extra. We explain the cost before we begin, which is also set by Directv, and give you the customer the chance to say Ok or no thanks. No one is forcing you to buy anything extra. I have good employees and we have a good reputation in our community and that is why I am posting this comment. Thanks for reading. more

Most horrible customer service experience of my life!!!! 8/23/2006

Where do I start?? The company lied to me about all kinds of hidden costs that were not mentioned until the install of my Direct TV system was almost complete. The installer lied and told me it was impossible to put the jack for the cable on the wall I wanted it on. I had to threaten him with bringing in another installer to double check his work before I figured out it could be put where I wanted it he just wanted to use existing wires that were already there from a previous install. Doing this would allow him to get to his next appointment quicker to make more money for the day. He could care less about how I wanted it done, he just wanted the quick and easy way out. The owner of the company acted like I was a complete thorn in his side because I wanted the wiring to be unseen. As it stands they did not even finish the install. I have cables hanging from the roof down to the back of my TV, it looks horrible. This is the single most unprofessional group of people I have ever seen in my life. All they care about is getting your money, they dont care that I am completely unsatisfied with the install. The owner was very rude to me when I tried to resolve the matter with him. All he did was scream at me and hang up the phone. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy, avoid them at all costs. Cons: Will not complete the job, they lie to you about cost, very rude and unprofessional more
