DON'T USE THIS STORE! I went to the Brooklyn location and the girl YAFFA and the guy EXAVIER where not helpful at all. They where VERY happy to get my money but when it came to delivery they didn't have a clue. I only spoke to Exavier on the phone and he refused to give his last name and claimed he didn't know Yaffa's last name. Only a Dingle doesn't know his co-worker's last name, especially when you've been working with them for a month as he claimed. I don't believe that either. He never called me back nor did she. So I had to put a hold on the payment from my bank so I didn't get ripped off and hope the futon would arrive. The delivery issue is typical of most furniture stores in the city but if they were honest and tried to help me get it delivered I'd be happy. Unfortunately, I never received it. PUT A HOLD ON THE PAYMENT IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THESE CONS. I'm going to Craigslist and get one used. Thanks, Futon Rip-Off House Pros: NONE Cons: Delivery, Customer Service, Dishonesty more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS 9/4/2007

They were like Jackall & Hyde, very nice in the store but once goods were sold, no customer service rendered whatsoever. I was duped into paying more for a mattress (not available in showroom) and covers that didn't fit, and weren't allowed to exchange right after delivery for cheaper model even when I said I would let them keep the extra money. When upgrading our futon during the buying process, we were not alerted to the fact that the mattresses don't fold anymore with a certain thickness and the cover provided does not fit either. When we called our salesperson Damien, he started to argue with us, disputing our claims, refusing to let us exchange our futon (we were willing to accept a loss monetarely) and having all kinds of phony excuses. When I came to the Futon Warehouse, I had such a good experience with the staff. They were well dressed and very helpful to answer to all the questions. Also I really lliked the way they kept their showroom cleaned and organized. They delivered my stuff on time and had a very good delivery guys that even showed me how to operate my futon frame. This is the biggest store and wide selection store I have ever seen in the city. Overall Futon Warehouse offers the best prices and I would recommend to everybody to shop there because of the above. Pros: Best Customer Service, Great Delivery Service, Wonderful showroom. Cons: Can not find any cons about this store more

Iwent in looking for a bedroom set and a nice well dressed salesmen came up to me and begane helping me. I must of stood there for 3hours and he didn't leave my said at all. When it came time to pay for what I wanted, not only did they give me a very good price, but i recomended them to my friends.......But the delivery was not on time ,all in all I had a very good time shopping at ther FUTON WAREHOUSE Pros: The showroom was very clean and nice, thy were not pushy at all, and the salesman (Damien) was very helpfull and nice. great customer service 10/12/2006

I had gone in one day to buy a futon set for my apt and right away the service began. This employee named damien had assisted me with respect as well as good knowledge of the product i was looking for, he was friendly and even worked with me with prices and felt at the end the price was fair. i was really happy with everything and recommend this store for your funiture. Though the delivery service needs to improve overall i feel if the staff is honest from the begining all will end well!!!!! Pros: great customer service Cons: delivery service more

Incompetent Staff 7/27/2006

Ordered a futon on Friday, was promised delivery on Tuesday but no one showed up and no one called because they simply forgot to process my paperwork. Rescheduled for Wednesday, called to confirm delivery twice, same thing - waited 3 hours and no delivery. Called the next day to find out mattress was not even ordered. Rescheduled again and eventaully received the futon. Also know that Futon Warehouse uses an unaffiliated shipping company whose service is excellent. Its the main office that's no good - requires constant "handholding" and calls to ensure mediocre service. Don't let the show room fool you! Go elsewhere! Horrible Experience 5/8/2006

I ordered a bed on tuesday they promised delivered on friday - friday came, no one showed up. I called. They said next tues. someone brought half the pieces, then left. Promised to come back the next day. The next day - 2hrs after they told me they were coming - I got a call said they weren't, again. 2 weeks went by. I don't have a bed, in my new apt, because no matter how many times I call or go in, no one can tell me what's happening. When the guy finally showed up, at 11.30pm two weeks late, (he told me he'd be there at 5), he gauged every piece of wood and screamed when I said I couldn't pay him for ruining my furniture.
