I recently visited the futon store and was very happy with my experience. The staff were very friendly and helped me with configuring a number of different options. The delivery guys were helpful too. They showed up on time and were very polite. Wonderful Experience 2/24/2010

Do NOT listen to RalphN's review!\r \r I read a review from RalphN on here and was terrified that my daughter wanted to show me a futon she picked out from this store for her new apartment. When I couldn't convince my daughter not to, I finally had to experience this store for myself...\r & HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!\r \r Contrary to RalphN's opinion of this ""failing"" store, I thought it was lovely. The salespeople are friendly and incredibly helpful, and the environment is not as scary as furniture shopping has become these days. Honestly, when I entered the store I had low expectations and was rather rude to the young lady. I kept my distance and was short with her, and still she was very pleasant and gave me my space. I eventually got confused because this is a very nice product (not like that dinky one I had in college), and the young lady I had been so rude to was there ready to help me figure it out. \r I, of course, apologized to the young lady for my behavior and explained to her about the review before this one, which she was clueless about. Bless her heart.\r \r Not only did my daughter choose a futon of exceptional quality, comfortable and affordable, but we also had the futon DELIVERED. And were pleasantly surrprised with the difference in opinion by RALPHN. \r The two gentlemen who delivered her futon were young, respectful guys. They came to her complex, brought the futon up the stairs and into her apartment, with a smile on their faces. The futon was completely assembled, up two flights of stairs for her apartments and only cost $67. Try to find that elsewhere.\r \r I went back over Ralph's review and I can only figure one reason why he might say any of the awful things he said on here. The lovely gentlemen who delivered my daughter's futon were young, black men. They were in jeans and t-shirts, like any other young man you would see walking down the street today. And by the way, they're delivering furniture, not sitting behind a desk doing your taxes. I have a strong suspision that the real reason for Ralph's awful review is because he is a racist man with nothing better to do than start trouble.\r \r I don't know how other people feel about it, but we live in MEMPHIS, it's a diverse city. I'm so tired of all the racial comments I hear on a daily basis.\r White on Black racism\r Black on White racism\r Hispanic on Asian on Canadian racism, it's ridiculous.\r \r A race is not bad, people are bad. Individuals who need to be held accountable for their own actions, like RalphN, are ""thuggish hooklums"". \r \r Please, do not listen to that awful review. Because of it, I was unnecessarily rude to that poor young lady, who did absolutely nothing to deserve it. \r \r And to RalphN, I may not know what happened that day for your delivery, but I do know that posting something so hateful and untruthful is wrong. \r It also looks like you posted that almost two years ago, and might I say...\r Good call on the Bankruptcy Sale. In this economy, only the store's who have something to offer stay in business, and they'll continue to receive my business for years to come. Lexus showroom, Yugo service. 7/12/2008

Pricey prices, smooth New Age lalala salespeople, nice futons.\r \r HORRIFIC delivery service. \r \r Some of the WORST street thugs from Memphis represent the Futon Store when they come to deliver the product.\r \r I had an absolutely miserable experience with these thugs at 7: 30 AM on Saturday morning. Among other things, I was threatened with violence when I reprimanded one of the deliverymen for his ugly manners.\r \r This store is not what it seems. You do NOT want to do business with them. They are a bit of a sham. \r \r Their business is in trouble. Wait until they have their bankruptcy sale. It's coming. \r \r And DON'T, DO NOT use their delivery service, unless you like being abused by young street hoodlums. \r \r For their prices, you ought to have a good, quality, ""Lexus"" experience from start to finish. Well, the delivery was a Yugo nightmare. \r \r PASS THEM BY.\r \r Hope they go broke and molder in Hell. \r \r I'm going to take this business to court for intentional infliction of emotional distress -- by their delivery personnel.
