I was brunette and have been trying to slowly go blonde and after other colorists said that I couldn't achieve the results that I wanted, Ellen at Fusion Hair Studio totally worked with me and I have finally achieved the shade of blonde I wanted with no damage to my hair. I went in last month to get haircut. Vanessa was available and took right then. I never know what I should do and have gone to many salons where it seemed the stylist didn't care and hated being asked for suggestions. Vanessa took the time to go over a couple different looks that would gowith my face. She did a great job. Its been a while since I walked out of the salon this happy with my hair. She also told me diffrent ways I could style it at home. All the girl at the salon are so welcoming and make the experence fun. I don't think Ill be going anywhere else. My best friend has been going to Fusion for a few years and is always raving about it. The other day she dragged me in there with her to keep her company while she got her highlights done. Melissa happened to be available and gave me the best haircut I have ever had! The salon is super cute and lively, without being too trendy or too stuffy. Melissa gave me some great tips on styling my hair at home, both curly and straight. We started talking about dry shampoo and she recommended a product that they don't actually carry. This tells me she was really listening and answering my needs, not necessarily pushing their products on me. I will never go anywhere else again! Fusion offers a wide variety of services, including hair extensions. I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years and I wouldn't get my hair done anywhere else. I walked in to Fusion on a whim, and Vanessa was able to take me right away. I was kind of nervous because I dont get my hair cut that often, but she gave me a real extensive consolation and went over everything we discussed before starting my to cut my hair. When she was done i was thrilled it was like she read my mind and really understood my needs. Its been a couple of weeks and my hair looks fantastic and she showed me a couple of tricks that I can use at home to style my hair. I really recommend this girl more

I am the type of person that doesn't do well with making appointments, and never had one stylist I saw regularly. I would bounce around from salon to salon finding someone with an open appointment. After moving to the city I tried two other salons before Fusion. After one appointment, I was hooked! I see Aimee, the owner, and love my appointments. She's upbeat and energetic and listens to what I want to do. I get more compliments on my hair cut and color than I ever have before, and I always tell everyone where to go to get it done. I change my hair color every few months and it always looks amazing and the transition is never harsh. I always walk out knowing that I can conquer the world with my new look! Fusion rocks!!! After moving to Chicago earlier this year and attempting to transition from a stylist I had seen for seven years who knew my hair inside and out to a new salon here in Chicago, I was completely dissatisfied with the results I experienced from THREE different salons, all pricey and considered higher end. I decided to try Fusion after reading quite a few top notch reviews and I will be forever grateful! I was booked with Amy the owner, and not only did she give completely honest and accurate advice on my desire to color my hair a certain way, she then called to check on the results a few days later. I would say the best customer service I have seen from a salon, especially when all my prior stylists had been so arrogant about their work, even though they all massacred my hair! Amy fixed my haircut that a previous stylist had completely butchered ( I have very thick hair) and my color looks beautiful. I highly recommend this salon if you are tired of messing around with pretentious overpriced snobs that pretend to know what they are doing. My husband and I have been getting our hair cut with Aimee since she opened and are always happy and relaxed when we leave. She is very talented and such a great person by listening to our wants while offering her professional opinion. Great location-parking never a problem. I love the fresh flowers and the photography around the hair studio along with the great music. So if you need a new and improved look call them up. more

After having many issues with finding the right color for my hair, I decided to go to Fusion. Amiee did such a great job. She took the time to fix the color problems I had, and left my hair feeling much healthier and stronger. She also did a fabulous job on the cut as well. Being a Chicago native I am very hesitant to just try an internet user review, yet after having the worst color experience from a ""Referred Top Colorist"" , my hands were waving in the air. I was absolutely thrilled after I received an extensive consult from Anna at Fushion. All of the staff was so lovely, understanding how sensitive I was to such horrible prior service which left my hair orange. From the minute I called to inquire the receptionist was so understanding as to my urgency to get this fixed to the minute I walked in and was offered a beverage and a warm smile. It's so hard to look for a great stylist due to the unique attributes we all posess, yet Fushion Salon on Clark in Lakeview is by far my new and only salon. The owner is extremely approachable and caring as to why clients have come to her salon. Not to mention the sinks have a reclining ottoman to put your feet up when washing your hair. I actually almost took a quick nap while I was waiting for color. This salon is extremely clean and the atmosphere is just right. Her choice of color and interior style is hip and welcoming. Anna is eager to ensure her ""New Clients feel safe"" I have my next appointment in 4 weeks and I can't wait to see what is next. TRY THIS PLACE!!! Pros: Exceptional corrective color! After years of bouncing around trying to find that right cut, I found Melissa and won?t go back! I followed her from her former salon, to Fusion, and have been going to Melissa for 3 years now.
