The rides at seattle center are ancient and need an update. This place is a cheap imitation of a real amusement park. I would say that it is too expensive for the rides. The roller coaster that sucks costs 6 dollars per person. wow. too much. The arcade area offers a good selection of video games for a decent price. however. the laser tag arena is tiny and no fun. The mini golf also is lame. more

Few rides 12/8/2005

The Fun Forest Amusement Park at Seattle Center is too much of a gimmick in my opinion. If you go to a real amusement park, you'll have much higher quality rides and the prices won't be much different. The rides here are very old, and I can't even remember the last time a new ride was installed. The arcade might be worthwhile if you are looking for skilled opponents, but stay away from the expensive laser tag. more

There is always a fun time to be had by everyone at the Fun Forset Amusement Park. They have miniature golf, kiddie rides, video games, bumper cars, climbing wall, laseer tag, great food and more! There is a fun activity there that everyone in the family can enjoy, even the little ones. Very nice place, safe for the kids and pretty affordable prices on both games, rides and food items. more

Cheaper than Disneyland 7/31/2005

I can honestly say that I think at least once a month about how I'd like to go back to Fun Forest. It has enough rides that are exciting, but not so scary that you end up screaming at your friends for convincing you to ride them. It's a good place for children or teens or adults. While a bit on the expensive side for an activity, for an amusement park, it's pretty well-priced. more

the most awesome place in seattle 7/31/2005

so, you thought it couldn't get any better than the tippy-top of that dratted space needle, eh? Well, sir, you haven't been to fun forest. They have hot dogs, cotton candy, and even caramel apples! In all seriousness, they have the great rides to walk the walk. My favorite is the contraption that, after strapping you in, throws you round and round in concentric circles while flinging you about. more

Editorial

  • The Appeal
If parents want to show their kids the cultural richness of Seattle Center, they can abandon all hope once their young ones hear the roller-coaster music or the barkers beckoning them to shoot their way to a stuffed-pig trophy at Fun Forest. It's such an intense mix of 1960s color and corniness that it's almost retro-hip.

    Features
At the indoor pavilion, play miniature golf, laser tag and video games (car racing is most popular). Younger kids might prefer the Puff-and-Dumbo rides. Just outside is more traditional carnival fare, from a Ferris wheel and Wild River ride to a roller coaster and merry-go-round.The usual amusement park food includes hot dogs and corn dogs, cotton candy and sno-cones. For more variety, walk a few feet west to the Seattle Center House, with its vast food court.
