The bowling alley is very expensive and not well-maintained. The lanes are not waxed regularly, and the seating areas for each lane are very small. Save some money and go to a goo...

Really is fun city! 6/22/2014

Just went here with my husband to bowl! We were greeted when we walked in and asked what we were there for! Everyone was helpful. We were placed at a bowling lane and we began bowling. A waitress came over and asked if we would like any food or drinks. We ordered a pizza and wings and they were out fast! They were great! I can't rate the rest of the fun center however because we only bowled! more

Bully City 5/12/2012

My daughter and her friend were cornered in the ball factory by a group of boys and were hit repeatedly by the plastic balls. Even though they received welts on their face and chest, the management team did not ask the family to leave. One of the dads had to stop the boys as an employee witnessed the attack. Do not bring your family here! The management supports boys who like to bully girls! more

A Fun Place to Hang Out 2/28/2006

I can remember back in the day when Fat City was called “Fun Plex.” It had the look and feel of an older roller skating rink, bowling alley, and arcade. Then, about six or seven years ago, Fun Plex got its makeover and became Fat City. It’s a much cooler place now – black lights in the skating rink and bowling alley, cooler music, etc. However, last time I was there I thought the place’s new look had also started to attract more of a trendy teenage crowd, so the fallback is definitely that it has become much less of a family place than it used to be. more

Good for Kids and Teens 2/27/2006

There is a plethora of activities at Fat City. From the ever-pervasive video games to laser tag to bowling to mini golf, this will drain your pocketbook, one dollar at a time, but the kids will love it. I had my daughter's birthday party there a few years ago (they specialize in that) and they all had a marvelous time. There's not a whole lot there to interest Mom & Dad while the pre-teens are running about, but at least you know they are safe and (somewhere) under one roof. more

What a Blast!!! 2/8/2006

Fat City is so much fun for the whole family! We loved the bumper cars and the foam factory! It is so bright and fun inside! Our whole family did not want to leave! We didn't try out the bowling because it was a little crowded. That was really the only downfall of the place! more

decent place if you have kids 1/6/2006

I used to take my kids here every couple of months. It was a great place at one time but they dont seem to take enough care of the place. The bowling and laser tag is decent but I have alot of complaints about the mini gold and skating rink more

fat city 9/4/2005

Fat City is an indoor amusement park. They have bowling, laser tag, roller skating, bumper cards, a foam factory and a large arcade. They also have two fast food type restaurants and a bar. It has something for every age. The bowling alley becomes 18 and up on Friday and Saturday nights. There are all day passes available and on Wednesdays, its dollar days. more

I found Fat City to be an awesome place for my children. I did a birthday party for my 5 year old last year. They are very friendly and eager to help. I enjoyed the fact that there was a wide range of activities for all ages. I especially like their weekday offers and they always have coupons in the mail or in the gold c book. You should never have to pay full price, which I like. If you're a stay home mom, go on a weekday when they have a special, it's not too crowded and you don't have to spend a ton of money. more

Lots of fun all in one place 8/17/2005

I’m in my early thirties and have actually come here to “play” with adults more than with kids. Fat City offers bowling, pool, a skating rink (yes a friend of mine had her 30th birthday at the rink), laser tag, miniature golf, etc. This place is more suitable to families with older children than very young ones. The only activity I will bring my toddlers for is the cool 3-story foam factory where kids can run around throwing foam balls and going crazy. But you still want to be very careful in there as the older kids are a little too rough on the weekends and at night. Not the big kids fault, just a side effect of all ages playing together in that kind of space. It’s a good place to go if your group can’t agree on a single activity. more

Loud Fun 8/11/2005

This place will keep your kids hopping for some time - plan to spend the better part of the day and don't plan on having a conversation. Bowling, laser tag, roller skating, arcade, putt-putt, and this HUGE play structure. My kids really enjoy this place but bring your earplugs because you will go deaf... more
