Consitently Excellent Thai 12/27/2009

My family has been going to Full Moon Thai for more than five years now, and we leave happy and full every time--sometimes sweating from the 4-5 star dishes, hehe. My favorite menu items are Chicken Panang Curry and Drunken Noodles. Even the spring rolls and salad at Full Moon are superb. Pep (I think that's how you spell her name) is the nicest waitress/cook I have ever met: She always makes you feel welcome. Bottomline: This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle... Pros: Reasonably Priced;Delectble Dishes, Amazing Service Cons: Too far from my abode:Kind of out-of-the-way more

NEW WEBSITE!! TAKE OUT MENU, easy ordering! 7/18/2009

Great thai food. Amazing service. Fun, comfy atmosphere! And now so easy to order! I got a menu off their website: fullmoonthaicuisine dotcom and I was able to order and pick up! SO EASY!! 5 stars! YAY! Pros: Great food, just like in Thailand more

YUMMMM!! 6/6/2009

Great atmosphere - great service - great food!! If I lived in Seattle area I would dine here often -- as it is, when I come down from Vancouver BC to visit friends, I'll be talking them into coming to Full Moon! We had 5 different entrees, and 2 appetizers and everything was fresh and delicious! more

Best Thai around 1/15/2009

I love Thai food but am very picky about it. Now that I have had Full Moon (several times) I will travel from Snohomish to Edmonds just to get it from there rather than just settle for anything near me. The lunch special prices can not be beat anywhere else - especially since it also comes with soup and spring rolls plus a large entree portion. Love it! more

My Favorite Thai 9/11/2007

This wonderful restaurant is off the beaten path, but otherwise I'm sure it would always be crowded. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is friendly and thoughtful, the food is to die for. The veggies are always very fresh. The fresh spring rolls are great, as are all their curries. I appreciate it that four-star-heat (out of five) is truly hot! more

Disappointed, disappointed, disappointed... :( 8/30/2007

I have a strong passion for food, so I had to say something about this place, especially with such overrated reviews! After this experience, I almost never want to trust online reviews again! 5 stars!? C'mon, what are these people thinking!!!!? We were disappointed that this restaurant did not live up to these reviews.\r \r For example, we ordered Phad Thai, and it was way too sweet, sweeter than candy. The Noodles were not even fully cooked. How could a basic dish like Phad Thai go so wrong. Also, all the dishes were NOT cheap!! Appetizers start from $6.95, and the main dishes are $8.95 and up. Service was not outstanding -- There were not so many customers, but service was still slow, and not so pleasant. I've been to many different Thai restaurants (including real ones in Thailand), but I would say this place was definitely not among the best.\r \r If you think anything sweet is ""good food"" (in other words, sweetened Americanized dishes), you'll love and perhaps give 5 stars to this place, but I will certainly not go back. Not worth it.... Pros: Parking Cons: Overly sweet food, Price, Bland atmosphere more

excellent dining experience 3/4/2007

One of my best dining experiences ever.\r Very friendly and attentive staff. Great customer service.\r Food was much better than more expensive Thai restaurants downtown. Prices very reasonable.\r Bottle of Gewurztraminer $15\r Phad Thai $8\r Potuen $10\r Generous portions.\r Water glass always refilled promptly.\r Very nice atmosphere.\r Tables comfortably spaced.\r Waiters were perfect.\r bus stops at restaurant.\r ample parking.\r Never crowded.\r I have to say again that the staff was friendly.\r They got a big tip and they deserved it.\r more

Absolutly the BEST Thai restaurant! 10/10/2006

I love thai food and have been to many Thai restaurants in and around Seattle and was thrilled to find the best thai food i'd ever had right in my own neighborhood! I usually go with a few friends so we can share different entrees. The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive. more

I love this place 1/28/2005

Nice neighborhood, quite place. Great and tasty dishes. Extremely nice staff. Went there several times and would go more. By far is superior to every other Thai restaurant I ever tried. Pros: dishes size, flavor, friendness more

wowwww!!! 11/14/2004

I love this restaurant!! The food is incredible. The people are absolutely wonderful. Do i need to say anything else? This little spot has been nicely kept quiet for so long, I think it's time for the rest of seattle to find out about it. The food is sooo good! It's nice and relaxing and you always get prompt service. Check it out! It's worth the little trip noarth. And, it's nice that its all family there. Pros: food, family, atmosphere more

Out of the way and out of this world! 7/24/2003

I have only been here once, but with 4 of us ordering different items, I got to try it all. I can only say WOW! I love Thai food, and this is by far the best satay and phad thai I have tried. Be sure to order Thai Iced tea and an appetizer. Sit, enjoy the quiet and the food. Definitely worth the drive to the north end. Pros: Authentic Food, Quiet, out of the way, Huge portions Cons: Needs more decor more

Truly the best Thai food in Seattle 6/29/2002

Living in the northend it's rare to find a great restaurant, but that's what Full Moon delivers. Not only is it one of the best Thai places in Seattle, (my Aunt is Thai and I'm spoiled with homecooked Thai food) but what a friendly staff and inviting atmosphere (although the John Tesh soundtrack can go). Try the Larb, with succulent hints of fish sauce, lime and mint, as well as the Red Curry with flavorful Thai basil and aromatic coconut milk, and the Pad Krapao Pork with it's savory onion and bell pepper sauce. I can't wait to go and try everything on the menu! Pros: Food, Inexpensive, Atmosphere Cons: Music more

Yummy 6/28/2002

My family and I have been frequenting Full Moon Thai from the day they opened. The food is consistently good, no matter what day we go there. The staff and Jim are always friendly & willing to serve. I have frequented most Thai Restaurants in the Puget Sound, and this one is the best-bar none. Their menu states ""Best Thai Restaurant in Shoreline."" It should read ""Best Thai Restaurant in Puget Sound."" I highly recommend the drive to Richmond Beach to see for yourselves. Pros: Good Value, Consistently Good, Great Atmosphere more
