I love Italian food. I've eaten at many Italian restaurants. This place has the best caesar salad I have ever had. Their dressing is wonderful and their bread, while fattening, is delicious. Personally, I love their Mezza Luna pasta. The prices are reasonable for great Italian food. more

This is a really good restaurant. From the decor to the extensive menu and wine list, everything has been thought out. I love the calzones and strombollis and the house salad comes in a HUGE bowl, with freshly grated cheese and pepperonis. I have never had a bad meal here. It could be a little more kid-friendly but that is a minor quibble. more

Brick Oven Grille is an authentic Italian restaurant featuring romantic, as well as family style dinners. Besides offering a varied menu of pasta, pizzas, and Italian specialty dishes, they also offer an extensive wine list. The restaurant is located in Hixson, a suburb of Chattanooga, approximately 20 minutes from downtown. The interior features a beautiful wall mural with an Italian theme, as well as a view of the brick oven from the dining area. Romantic touches include white tables cloths, candles, and cloth napkins. The entrée are served with a generous salad and bread sticks. My favorite is the Veal Parmigiana with Spumoni for dessert. Brick Oven Grille is a great choice for anniversaries and special occasions. It is a very popular restaurant, and reservations are recommended. The prices are moderate, and it is my choice as the best Italian restaurant in the Chattanooga area, hands down. more
