Neat little place for a morning out... 7/24/2006

Frying Pan Park is a really cute little place that is FREE! It is part of the park service. It is really kid friendly and there are a lot of barn animals to look at. There are also a lot of horses around. Many people go here to use their horse facilities. I know that they charge $3 for a wagon ride (ages 2 and up)...bring some cash. They have some shaded picnic areas behind the horse center. more

Family Fun!!! 8/17/2005

Frying Pan Park is fun for all ages. They have alot of things to see and do. There's Kidwell Farm shows you what it was like to live on a Dairy farm back in the 20's to 50's. There's all kind of things to see and animals to pet. You can even go on a wagon ride or a hay ride. There's even a country store that sells a variety of items as well as hosts the Farmers Market that is open on Wednesdays from May to October. It's a great place to buy local fresh produce and other items. more
