Who could resist sitting outside on a porch drinking buckets of cold beer on warm summers night? Not me, that's forsure. The Front Porch Pub definately attracts a mixed company from College Students to the After Work crowd. You can even enjoy a Steak and Potato dinner on Tuesday Nights. LOVE IT!! 7/7/2002

Midtown so needed something like the FPP. The bartenders are actually FRIENDLY and the waitstaff is quick. The owner knows his stuff and has really taken to heart what it is that people want in a bar. The only drawback is that the food is limited, but the rest of the atmosphere makes up for it. Perfect for Houston summer evenings outside on the deck and a great place to watch Monday Night Football! Pros: Staff, beer selection, pool tables Cons: limited parking, food selection more

    A crowd of beer taps at the bar matches the crowd of drinkers on the front porch of this leisurely pub at downtown's edge. There are even more beers bottled for the beer enthusiast. Mellow out with chocolate stout against brick-and-plaster walls, or play some pool on one of the tables overlooking Gray Street.
