Until I had a substandard $50 pedicure on Valentine's day with my partner. My partner's massage was barely a reassuring rub, and mine managed to find every bruise on my calf--and who likes to have their shinbone massaged? My pedicurist also argued with me about the painful digging she was doing into my cuticle--I ask you to stop digging, just stop digging. Don't tell me how much dead skin is still there. I don't care.
THE WORST PART: I rarely complain, but for $110 for the two of us, on Valentine's Day, I had to say something. The manager listened, talked to her staff, called us back, and PROCEEDED TO TELL US HOW WRONG WE WERE--HER STAFF WERE UNAWARE OF ANY DISSATISFACTION (she stopped every time I flinched, which was a lot) AND THE STAFF AT THE COUNTER WHO SEEMED TO BE LAUGHING AT CUSTOMERS WERE JUST LAUGHING AT THE BEAUTY PRODUCTS THE CUSTOMERS WERE LOOKING AT. NO APOLOGIES!!! In any case, we're never going back, and we didn't like the remodel anyway.
