Excellent food, sevice and atmosphere 8/21/2005

I went to Freemason Abbey on a business lunch and the service was right on. I got the fried shrimp and they were so big, I could have sworn they were prawns. They were delicious. They served us salad (which was so funny how you do this, I won't give it away, but it is a half head of lettuce.) This is in an old church and it is worth going there just to see the beautiful architecture. It is large enough to accommodate a very big group, and yet you can have a romantic evening too. more

Delicious Food, Impeccable service 7/21/2005

The Freemason Abbey is an old converted church that now serves as a restaurant. The interior is just beautiful and offers up a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Their seafood and steaks are exceptional, and they often offer up seasonal and regional specials. The cost is a little high, but it is well worth it for the quality of food, the ambience, and the wonderful service. Their wait staff is more than attentive and always makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Be sure to make reservations as this is a very popular local restaurant, but it is well worth it. more
