hope you have a lot of time. this place has so much to offer. I came up with so many ideas that I think my whole house needs to be refurbished now! The name Unique & Antique is under-rated. Fred's staff is very accommodating too. They moved/arranged different furniture pieces and a few accessories into a setting for me so I could get a good visual of how it would all look once it came together. The owner even added a few of his own ideas which helped my decision easier. Great place to shop! more

bring a truck! You don't have one? Fred will deliver! I just bartered with Fred for a couple dressers, a queen size bed, and some new dining room chairs. We also haggled over a couple sofas & a round area rug for my dining room. I couldn't help myself! My family can't get over my new decorating techniques since I started shopping at Fred's. amazing! more

This store is located on 8 Mile Road, about 10 minutes from St. Clair Shores. Very easily accessible, with parking directly on 8 Mile road. You just pull up in front of the store and exit your vehicle. No metered parking, either. Free. The store can be a bit overwhelming. It is large and holds a HUGE variety of items to look at. Many antiques, as well as some modern things. There is all types of furniture: tables, dressers, chairs, rockers, storage trunks, mattresses, bed frames....you name, they probably have it in the back if it isn't out front!! Nice owners and very helpful. Prices seem a bit high to me, as this is second hand store, as opposed to brand new furniture. We have purchased items and taken them home to refurnish ourselves. You can negotiate a price, too! more
