I can't imagine the people who wrote negative reviews are eating at the same restaurant. Jeffry, the head chef is outstanding! If you are looking for meatloaf and mashed potatoes,...

Our server added a nice 'tip' to our bill that we failed to notice until the day after.

Food so good I shushed myself! 10/12/2006

I couldn't speak for a full minute while I enjoyed exquisite combination of flavors on my tongue. This is where I go for special occasions. Now that you're hooked, here's the detail: fantastic seasonal foods, ever-changing menu; impeccable service; the waiters know their food and what to recommend with what. Near campus; interior was redone w/in the past year. This was the original restaurant from the folks that opened the more-well-known Porter's City Tavern. I adore Frazier's and it's my restaurant of choice when I have visitors from out of town or I want to celebrate an occasion. more

Good, though no longer a find 8/4/2005

When Frazier's opened, it was sensational. The food's high standard was matched by its sensational value. Last time I dined there however, I spent $120 for two, w/ two beers and no wine. Frankly, their food remains excellent but I believe that their offerings are priced or perhaps over-priced accordingly. I am baffled how Porter's next door (same management) offers comparable fare in a chicer setting for half the cost. Amazing place especially if you factor in value. Entrees here are priced very reasonably. The small but balanced menu (always has a vegetarian, chicken, beef, and tuna entree) changes regularly for variety. Lunch is also a killer deal with great food. more

Small Inviting Atmosphere 7/12/2005

Great food on Hilsborough St. Staff is well seasoned at this restaurant, most have worked there for years. The menu changes ever so often to update its tastes. Great place for a date or casual dinning. In the mood for a late night meal of select items, then check it out. Local art work is displayed on their walls as well. This is a non-smoking restaurant, except for late night. more

Excellent 6/20/2005

Fraziers is one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh. The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. You can tell this place uses only the finest, freshest ingredients available. I highly recommend the salmon or ravioli entree. The salads are also excellent. Considering the quality of the food, the cost is extremely reasonable. Our bill usually runs around $75 for two, which includes drinks, starters, entrees and a shared dessert. Speaking of drinks and desserts, their selection is excellent. I look forward to visiting Fraziers again. more
