Since I was young... 9/23/2009

I've been going to Frazer since I was practically born, and I love it. I've always been really involved in the Church, going to childrens choir and going on wednesday night when I reached the youth ministry. It is a big church, but the more you get involved the more you enjoy being there. People feel that they are being pushed away since it's so large, but you just have to find something to be involved in and the big church becomes a huge home for you as it has for me. Make an effort to get involved in some of the many programs and you will never want to leave. more

Something for everyone 10/25/2007

I have been a member of Frazer since 1982. I have always felt very at home in this large church. My husband joined when our daughter was christened. He loves the contemporary service. I like the fact that we can attend either traditional or contemporary. Our daughter is involoved in choir, sunday school and sunshine soccer. It is just a great place for worship, fellowship and praising the Lord. more

Frazer 10/20/2007

Although I am not a member, they offer a lot of different activities. My son is playing Sonshine Soccer and it has been great. They truly want to teach the kids soccer and sportsmanship, but most importantly about Jesus. more

A Friendly Church with lots to do 5/1/2007

Although I am not a member, I visited Frazer in my search to find a church in Montgomery. Everyone was quite friendly and the church seems to have something for everybody. more

My church 4/30/2007

I have been going to Frazer for over 11 years. I have seen many changes and there are many changes to come. I have watched Frazer change many things through the years and always found it to be great in the end. I invite you to come to Frazer and find your place there. There is a place for everyone! You just have to get involved and find your Sunday School Class or bible study that meets the needs you have. I feel my family is very blessed to live in Montomery, Alabama because of this church and the faith it grows. more

Six Flags Over Jesus 4/20/2007

Here, in Montgomery, Frazer is known as "Six Flags over Jesus", because it is so big and the way it is run. After a while of attending church, volunteering and getting involved one sees that there is very little of the Christian attitude that really makes a church a home. Frazer seems determined to church as many people as possible but has lost the ideal of being Christian. Its hides behind all the activities and groups, thinking it is being a place where Christians find comfort. The feeling at Frazer is one that the staff is often rude and that Frazer is more of a corporation than a church. Ask to use a meeting room and you are treated as if you have asked someone to give up their spot in heaven for you. If you arent in the "IN" group or are able to donate a lot of money, then you snubbed. Frazer has a face it shows the community and a real face that you see once you get involved. With Starbucks now a part of the church, many people laugh that next there will be a bank and a grocery s more

Perfect in my Eyes 4/15/2007

My husband and I were married at Frazer 14 years ago because my parents were members. We visited for 3 years after getting married before we became members. Over the years we have seen the church grow in membership, as well as the size of the building(s). The opportunities Frazer offers for myself, my husband and our 3 children, are endless. Each of our children attended Frazer Preschool, Sunday morning children's church & Sunday school classes, Wednesday night Godprints & choir, Bible School during the summer, the list goes on and on. My husband and I have volunteered in many areas, individually and as a couple. Our family knows Frazer is a blessing to us. We pray that our church home will continue to grow. There are too many unchurched people, who don't know God in the Montgomery area. Our congregation's commitment is to reach each and every one of them! more

Can't go wrong getting involved here 4/11/2007

Frazer has something for everyone wanting to get plugged into a Christ centered church. Even though the membership is huge, once you become involved in a small group, you fit right in. Being a large church enables Frazer to have many, many areas to become involved. Try it...you'll love it! more

Methodist Church 4/11/2007

A wonderful, Bible based church. Even though it is large, I found that the more I got involved the smaller the church seemed. Frazer has a great Contemporary Worship Service, Traditional Worship and activities for kids of all ages. There is something for everyone whether you are married, single, divorced, a teenager, elementary age or a toddler. Please come and give it a try. more

Not Just a Big Church 12/13/2006

Missions minded church. This church has something for everyone. We went to Calvary Chapel in California for years and we have looked for a church that taught through the Bible. Although Frazer does not do this we came to love this church. The teaching is straight from the Bible and John puts only the Word in his outlines. Sunday School classes are a great place to get to know people and get involved. Teenagers can go on missions trips, be in various drama, choir, sports and other activities. No church is perfect and you can find something you don't like about all church. What puts most people off about Frazer is the size but you can meet people in small groups. Go on a missions trip and you will have people you know for life. My family went to Ecuador and my only complaint is that we had to move away. I am sad that we had to leave this great church!!! more

Spirit Lead Church 9/21/2006

When we first moved to Montgomery, it was one of the first church's my wife wanted to visit. I thought no way, are you getting me into that big old church. Our first daughter was born about 9 months after we moved here. When she was two, we started her in the Mother's Morning Out program at Frazer. We had looked at all the preschool programs in the city and knew that it was this church's program we wanted our children in, if at all possible. By that time we had visited lots of churches and had joined a different one. Being a SAHD it was I that would take her to "school" each morning, she remained there until she started Kindergarten. Her little sister, our second child started going there when she was one. During all of this, we left the church we had joined and had begun visiting other churches (some for long periods of time and others for just one Sunday), yet Frazer was not one of them. Even though, I loved the staff of the preschool and the parents that we had gotten to know that h more

Amazing church 11/21/2005

Frazer is a huge church that has so many different things. They have childcare services, sports for both members and non member are welcome to join (especially in kids soccer, etc.), a hispanic service/ministry, and all kinds of outreach ministries for the community. They have contemporary & classic worship. The kids programs are amazing. Frazer is located in East Montgomery close to Eastdall mall. This has got to be one of the best churches we have ever attended. The true meaning of Christ is carried out in Frazer. PROS: outstanding church CONS: none more
