My battery died in a large parking lot, near nothing. I called AAA and said that Frank's would assist me within 45 minutes. A worker from Frank's called me to make sure where I was and was there within 18 minutes. After testing my battery, showing me the test and explaining everything, he recommended what the test showed, to get a new battery. He offered to jump my car and follow me to a place for me to buy a battery and also said he had a small and large battery for my car type in his car. We could go either route - it didn't matter to him. He was completely transparent, even showing me that the dealership had sold me the car with a smaller, less strong battery. I decided I have the battery changed right there. He was done within 5 minutes and made sure everything was connected and running smoothly. He was pleasant the entire time, making the process that much easier. He ended up getting there, testing my battery, installing the new one and leaving before the outer estimate of 45 minutes was even reached. Over the course of two separate collision repair jobs done by Frank's Automotive in New Braunfels, I had the absolute best service, best repairs, best experience ever! Gary took complete care of everything and delivered fantastic customer service. I could not give a higher recommendation! 150% satisfactory. Transporting the car between San Marcos and New Braunfels went smoothly too. Everyone I encountered at this location as well as in San Marcos made me feel like an important customer. We took my daughter's old car in for an extended oil change. The mechanic found a serious issue with the tie rods on the front end. George gave us a no pressure quote on repairs on that and a couple of other things. I checked with friends and the consensus was that the price was fair. We liked them enough that we brought the car back the next week for the tie rod repairs. We would go back. more

I won an oil change from Frank's Automotive at a fundraising silent auction for the Martindale VFD. So, I already like these guys for donating to a great cause. I went and received prompt, friendly service. I was out of there in under 30 minutes. I will be back! more

My name is not Julissa, it is Karla. I asked them to change that like three times. O brought my car in for a new alternator and was appalled at the ridiculous quote. I definitely would have been ripped off if I hadn't purchased my parts elsewhere and had you guys install it. But the worse part was the customer service given by, I believe his name is Robert. He is an older Hispanic man with a feet mustache. I had previously been helped by Tony and Bob and they were very kind, but this other employee was extremely rude to my face. Not only did he not know how to deal with an upset customer over the phone (he hung up on me), but he lost his cool when I asked how much longer the car would take. I had a 3:30 class that afternoon and it was already 3:00 and when I asked for a time frame, he refused to give me one and sternly said they were working on it several times. I only asked twice, the second time you could hear him losing it on the other side of the dealer screaming that he had already told me they were working on it. He was not understanding at all and when I confronted him about what he said over the door he acted like he had no clue about what I was talking about. This guy was a real piece of work to deal with in every interaction. Your customers pay to have a good experience at your shop, customer service is a big contribution to that experience. The lack of good customer service spoiled my experience. more
