Frank Myers Auto Maxx

For all you FM haters on here, you must be disgruntled employees posing as customers or something. Everybody knows that FM has been around forever so they must be doing something right. I bought a 2005 Saab from them and it is the best car I have ever owned. Brett from customer service has called me a couple of times to make sure everything is ok with the car and my experience. We've bought lots of cars over the years both new and used and this was one of the most down to earth (and like the other review said - fun!) experiences that we've ever had buying a car. Saw the tv commercials for many years. They are funny but funny does not equal a good car deal. Drove by and saw a 2006 Honda Accord on the lot. The salesperson was very friendly and answered all of my questions. The price was on the car and not hidden like most used car lots. They gave me a free Carfax without me asking. While I waited for the banks answer about financing, they brought me a drink while I waited. The owner came out and met me personally. Very courteous of him. There was a radio station there giving away prizes, a hot dog cart giving away hot dogs, and even Uncle Frank was there from tv. Well, I got my Honda and everyone clapped and formed a receiving line and shook my hand when I left. It has been 3 months and the car is great and they have even called me 3 or 4 times to see how I was doing. Great place and great people. more

I would not reccommend this dealership to anyone. I bought a car from him, and two days later the transmission messed up. He had it fixed (suppossedly), but a month later it messed up again. He made a lot of promisses about how he would find me another car, but it never happened. He's just been ignoring me and giving me the run around. If you're looking to buy a used car, DO NOT GO TO FRANK MYERS!!! Cons: bad customer service more

Looked everywhere for a car. Most lots were rude and blowed me off. I guess because I look young or poor:) Don't know which. Drove past Frank Myers on the way to the Nissan place and stopped. I saw their tv commercials but didn't really know what typr of vehicles they sold. Very surprised. Sales staff looked like pros...they were in shirts and ties. They were very nice to me and the cars were fairly new. Didn't see anything on the lot older than 5 years old. I bought a 2006 Kia Optima and love it and they have followed up with me to make sure I am happy. Great job by all at Frank Myers. Alright...there are 2 widely varying opinions on here so far about this dealership. Let me give you mine. I have been buying cars for 20 years. I have had terrible experiences at good dealerships and I have had good experiences at bad dealerships. It is really no different than going to Wal Mart or McDonalds. Sometimes you get a great employee, sometimes you get a bad one, and sometimes they just stand there like a knot on a log with no emotion at all. As a business owner myself, I know that is nearly impossible to determine or manage what all of your employees are doing or saying all of the time. Based on my many experiences with Frank Myers Auto, it sounds like that is what happened during one of these really negative reviews posted on here. My family has bought many cars from the Frank Myers dealerships over the years. I have always loved the fun atmosphere. There is fun music playing, everyone smiles and welcomes me to the dealership, and they truly look like they are having fun and enjoying what they do. The best part is the welcome to the Frank Myers family at delivery where all the employees stand up, clap, whistle, and congratulate you over the loud speaker for buying a car at their dealership. The quality of my cars have always been excellent with the last suv that I bought from them has almost 300,000 miles on it. I used to deal directly with Frank 20 some years ago and the last time I bought a car from them I learned that the oldest son, Tracy had bought the dealership. I used to see Tracy working in the detail shop as a teenager. It is great to see a local family business thriving and being passed down from one generation to the next. As a matter of fact, after my last purchase I received 3 phone calls (one from Mr. Myers personally) and 2 letters from the dealership welcoming me to the frank myers family. I will say this much, this is a great place to buy a used car and my family and I have never had a bad experience here. Pros: Fun, friendly and always smiling staff. Excellent customer service. Buying a car is so easy and fun. Cons: Parking leaves a lot to be desired but at least it is because of the big selection of cars for sale on the lot. more

i went to frank myers lookiong for a used car and i was approached as soon as i got out of my truck. the car salesman was very polite and asked what i was lookin for. i had alot of intrest in the vw beetle on their lot at the time. the gentlemen quickly went to get the keys for myself and my husband to drive. after both of us drove the car the gentlemen allowed my husband and myself some time alone so we could privatly decide what we thought, how we felt about the car, and if we wanted to proceed. Pros: GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE, NOT PUSHY OR FORCEFUL Cons: ????????I COULDN'T FIND ANY AND I'M A PICKY PICKY PERSON!!!!!! more

I had the worse service ever at this dealership. They didn't know they had the car I wanted. They couldn't find the keys, they were ignorant on everything about it. Then after all that and I was still willing to buy the car not even a week later after I told them to hold it and that I will be up there and they agreed and I had called twice that week to make sure they knew. I go up there to put money down and they come back to tell me they sold the car to another dealer after promising me that I had first dibs and would not sell it. NEVER buy a car from here. Unless you want to get screwed over. Cons: EVERYTHING more
