My husband and I stopped by there the other day on an outing to the Galleria Mall. He needed to get his sports fix and I needed to refuel. When I think of a sports bar, I think ...

Worst

From reviews over two years ago, saying bad service and overall not so well experience, here is yet another bad review of this place. You would think high standards for this place...

Expected Much More 2/27/2005

I went for a friend's b-day bash. The waitress that served us was so unprofessional. Although is was about 20-30 of us, she didn't get any of the orders right and when I expressed my opinion about the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp ( a $12.95 meal that was horrible) She got an attitude and refused to bring me a menu so that I could make another selection. And when the birthday boy asked for a refill on his drink from another waitress she told him that he would have to ask the waitress for the table, talk about rude! Its a nice place but the service is really bad. Pros: Parking, Setup Cons: Service more

Could Be Better, Could Be Worse 2/3/2005

Just went to Fox Sports Grill for lunch. Service was decent and the food was pretty good, but a little pricey for me. I really like the way the restaraunt looks and think they did a nice job of making the place look swanky and not at all like a sports bar even with tons of flat screens on the walls. Most of the clientele appeared to be business-men out for lunch. The filet mignon chili has an interesting mix of flavors (I don't usually like chili, but truly enjoyed theirs) and the chocolate cake dessert is VERY rich and VERY good. The location inside Galleria III isn't the greatest, but I had no problem with parking below the restaraunt at lunch. Was in and out within my lunch hour. Pros: Atmosphere, Desserts Cons: Location, A little pricey more

Fox Sports Grill is terrible 11/29/2004

Early on a Friday, the place was empty except for smokers in the bar. Two orders of ""St. Louis"" ribs @ $20.oo each were not edible. Must have been cooked 2 weeks before serving. Homemade potatoe chips were good but for $9.00 a serving. No thanks. This native Houston restaraunt frequenter will not return. Pros: decor Cons: , service, price more
