The Scene Form+Function is more than just another Highland Drive furniture-mart. It's virtually an institution. After all, it was promoting funkadelic revival chairs long before anyone had heard of Austin Powers. The store itself is crowded and colorful. There are some beautiful items, but if you want serious stuff, you're missing the point. It's a lot more fun to shop one plasma lamp at a time. Good For In addition to the signature "spiral" chairs, you can find a multitude of swingin' bedroom sets, tables, couches, desks and lamps, plus accessories--the aforementioned plasma lamps, dishes, paintings, towel racks and more. Who's Buying Anyone with an overdeveloped sense of style. What You'll Spend Prices vary widely. Dining sets (chairs included) range from $500 to $2,000. The average couch costs around $3,000.
