The restaurant is open seasonally from late March to early October. Area locals (with Fork's Burger addictions: P ) have these dates circled in bright red on their calendars! The amount of families that return year after year for generations is mind boggling. The owner's have tried to keep the 'old-time' burger and a (real ice cream) shake atmosphere. Many of their employees have been with them 15 to 20 + years.....that does say something for any establishment!
Wanted to say, the Restaurant doesn't take reservations. 1st come 1st serve. They do their best to seat large parties, but you may be separated; usually kids at the counter and parents at a table....a nice break for weary parents though!! Mid-summer can also mean an hour or more wait for a table. Hint: arrive between 3 and 5 pm (usually no waiting list) for faster seating.
