Justine Goldman?s ?editorial review? carefully avoided any mention of the FOOD at Foley?s and with good reason. This is some of the worst food in any irish pub in New York. The tastelessness of it all, from their specialty burger, through the apple pie, would to difficult to overstate. That said, Justine is correct that there?s a bar, and that it which seems to be very convivial - everybody talking and having fun, and yes the walls and even the tables are lined with baseball memorabilia that provide a nice distraction. The wait staff and even the busboys are smiley and pleasant. So my advice: Stop in for a drink and some fun...chat with the barkeep, waitresses and busboys -- but don?t eat at Foley?s.
Pros: Convivial, friendly bar, very pleasant staff
Cons: Poor food
