Fogg Art Museum 4/16/2006

Beautifully designed, this small museum on the Harvard campus is worth the price of admission (it is free for Harvard students). The focus here is on western art from the fourteenth century to the present. There is also a nice museum store. The second floor houses more contemporary art. This is a great place for and wedding or private party if you. can afford it more

Interesting! 3/9/2006

The Fogg Art Museum might be Harvard's first art museum, but it contains more modern works than do the newer museums like the Arthur M. Sackler. It is beautifully designed and houses an impressive collection of works. The permanent exhibit includes many pieces from Picasso as well as the area's best Impressionist collection. This museum is underrated, but has a higher quality of collection than does the Museum of Fine Arts located in nearby Boston. A gem of a museum in my opinion. more

The Fogg Art Museum is Harvard's oldest art museum. It is located a little off Harvard Square but is in the center of a range of Harvard museums. A lot of the work here is Impressionist and Post-Impressionist with highlights from William Blake. The admission is about $6.50 and students and seniors can get in for $5. more
