well i came to this place to celebrate my birthday, thinking it would something fun and different. but honestly, i could of just went to red robin and the food would of been WAYYY...

Always enjoyable 12/23/2006

We have gone to the Pig many times and never had bad service or bad food. As a matter of fact our experience has been very pleasant, both food and service. The prices are resonable and the size of the meal served gives you ample food. We have not only referred The Flying Pig to others, but we have bought gift certificates for three different families. Thank You to the owners and the hard working staff, keep up the good work. See you on our next visit. more

Will not EVER go again!! 8/6/2006

We had a large group arrive at the Pig late in the evening but not to late to be served and the restaurant was virtually empty. The staff at first refused to serve us because they "could not possibly write up so many orders!" We should have left and gone to Denny's because they have never had a problem serving us all at one time. We stayed and were treated very poorly. We have in the past always frequented the Pig during Theater productions, well not anymore. more

Good eats 5/7/2006

I can't say anything is terrible about the Flying Pig. I also can't say that anything is fabulous or unexpected. The menu has a nice variety of pub grub and everything I've had here has been good. They have a great beer/wine list and this is a fun place to hang out and enjoy a meal. Prices are average. more

why go here? average beer/check. average food/check. average service/check. average atmosphere/check. above average amount of yuppies/check. Need a pint, go down to scuttlebutt or turners. Need some grub drive down to any mexican place on colby ave. If you need an average place go here and have an average time. you wont be dissapointed, or overwhelmed either! more

solid food, good service 8/30/2005

Not much to complain about here. The Flying Pig has solid (though not exciting) food with a decent variety to their menu. Excellent bar/beer selection. They were happy to bring tastes of wine to a friend who was unsure what she would enjoy. Service was genuine and fun, but not overbearing. Prices are neither dirt cheap nor shockingly expensive. more
