Best

Definately our favorite seafood restaurant! The cajun platter offers a variety of gumbo, crab legs, fried cajun catfish, and crawfish. (I very well may have missed something.) ...

Everything I had was fried in what seemed to be old grease. Everything tasted the same...""old and greasy"". Service was OK. Premises were dull/greasy/and not very clean. I don...

It's closed 5/29/2010

We drove out there tonight to find that it's now a pizza and pasta place. Too bad. Cons: Limited menu, because it's closed more

Out of Business?!?!? 6/10/2009

Phone number on ""their"" website is disconnected or ""no longer in service"". What does THAT mean?!? Don't waste your time even looking for them... SIGH. Too bad there's no 'ZERO' rating. Cons: Call them! more

Great seafood for TN 11/28/2007

Looks are deceiving and this place is an example. Not fancy at all but the food is another story. Being from NYC I was fortunate to always have numerous seafood places to pic from. My first seafood experience in Nashville was not good but this changed my mind. Huge portions of great tasting, FRESH, seafood at affordable prices make this place excellent. I would definitely go again. Pros: Great food, huge portions, good price Cons: slow service more

Not going back 11/16/2007

Best Seafood in Nashville - Try the Cajun Platter!!!!!! Spoken from a true cajun gal. 9/22/2006

Definately our favorite seafood restaurant! The cajun platter offers a variety of gumbo, crab legs, fried cajun catfish, and crawfish. (I very well may have missed something.) My favorite is the frog legs. They'll cook them anyway you want. There is a baked oyster appetizer thats spicy good. YUMMY!!!!! Time to go eat! more

As close to Flordia as you can get! 7/12/2006

If you are looking for ambience forget it, but if your looking for some fresh seafood, this is the place. Unlike even more upscale restaurants that seem to get their fish and seafood from some local commercial food distributor theirs seem to be the real deal. Sometimes a bit of a wait but I believe everything is from scratch, well worth the wait. The portions are way too much, prepare to possibly take some home. Don't see how anyone could be disappointed. more

A+ Food with D- service 5/8/2005

We were seated promptly upon arrival with a party of 4. We arrived early, approximatley 11:30 AM to beat the lunch rush on a Sunday and they were only 1/2 full or less; Our waitress was slow to take our order, slow to check on us, and messed up our check. The food was some of the best I have eaten but the service left us lacking. Pros: excellent seafood Cons: poor service more

Great seafood at a great price. From the outside the place looks like an old omelet shop. Don't let appearances fool you. This is the best seafood we have eaten in a while. The food and the atmosphere reminded us of Gulf Shores / Orange Beach, Alabama. We got plenty to eat and enjoyed the authentic southerns sides available on the menu. more

GOOD CATCH!! 7/8/2004

The florida seafood kitchen is a great place to take the family. You get plenty of food for the money. I have never been able to finish a plate! The clams are exeptional! If you have a taste for fresh seafood and you are hungry Florida Seafood Kitchen is you place. Pros: plenty of food, not expensive more

Superb Seafood!! 6/26/2004

Being a native of New Orleans, I knew it would be very difficult, if not impossible to find great seafood in TN. Boy was I wrong. Fried oysters are my weakness and these oysters would melt in your mouth, not to mention there were at least 2 dozen on my plate!!! Also...the large portioned sides were a meal in themselves. My husband had the stuffed flounder and he, being a native of Key West, said it was like eating back home. Do not let the location fool you. This has become our favorite place to dine. I guarantee you will be satisfied with the family atmosphere. The service was great. Sabrina was our waitress and she kept the food coming and the ""Mamma"" style sweet tea pouring. Pros: Inexpensive, Large portions, Friendly service Cons: , None, None more

Don't let the land-lock fool you! 9/25/2002

It may not be Bayou la Batre or Pascagoula, but this Nolensville Rd. seafood kitchen is just about the closest thing to the gulf as you're going to get. Growing up in Mobile, AL, I knew they'd be hard-pressed to pull off the ""authentic"" homey-no-frills-beachside-crab-shack, but our experience at FLSeafood was great. Awesome gator-bites, clam strips, HUGE helpings, sweet tea that'd make your momma cry, and UNMATCHED people watching, to boot. The fried food is JUST right, not too much breading, not too much oil, golden-crispy on the outside, tender inside. Location a little questionable, but don't let it scare you off: the drive is well worth the reward inside! Pros: Food is AUTHENTIC, Friendly Wait-staff, Great People-Watching Cons: Location more

No More Fish in the Sea 8/13/2002

That's right all the fish were on my plate. What portions!! Do not come here expecting to nibble. The seafood feast portions are just that, a feast. The food was great and served very hot. Service good too. Best huspuppies I've had in a long time. Price for the portions is very reasonable. Seafood seems very fresh. There were a lot of folks there Sat and they all looked happy. Pros: huge portions, hushpuppies Cons: large smoking area more

Land Locked Seafood 7/16/2002

Bad service, low quality poorly prepared food. Nothing remarkable at all. I would honestly prefer Captain D's. I wouldn't eat there again if it were free. Pros: good parking Cons: bad food, bad service more

Excellent! 6/15/2002

Yet another restraint that I was skeptical of from the outside view. But wow, talk about some fresh seafood! Everything was fantastic. We had oysters on the half shell that tasted like you were at the beach having some freshly shucked oysters! The seafood was cooked perfectly, no overcooked tough oysters here! And the price was very reasonable. Who would have thought you could have a taste of fresh seafood in the middle of Tennessee! more
