It may not be Bayou la Batre or Pascagoula, but this Nolensville Rd. seafood kitchen is just about the closest thing to the gulf as you're going to get. Growing up in Mobile, AL, I knew they'd be hard-pressed to pull off the ""authentic"" homey-no-frills-beachside-crab-shack, but our experience at FLSeafood was great. Awesome gator-bites, clam strips, HUGE helpings, sweet tea that'd make your momma cry, and UNMATCHED people watching, to boot. The fried food is JUST right, not too much breading, not too much oil, golden-crispy on the outside, tender inside. Location a little questionable, but don't let it scare you off: the drive is well worth the reward inside!
Pros: Food is AUTHENTIC, Friendly Wait-staff, Great People-Watching
Cons: Location
