I went to this club with my sister thinking it sounded ok, but surprise surprise. we get there a little bit before 11:00 pm and the place is still pretty empty. the dance floor was pretty empty the whole night even with the radio promotion(96.3). everyone there seemed at least 30 and yeah there were a lot of couples and a lot of girls were dancing with each other cuz there was no one to dance with. to get in it's $12 and if ur under 21 it's $15 oh and u have to park in there parking. u also can't take ur drinks into the dance floor no matter what they are even water. the music was ok but it's just dead in there so u don't even feel like ur in a club. overall if u the chance to go somewhere else u probably should. I just have to say that the best male dancer I have ever seen works at Florentine Gardens. Ladies if you have not gone to see him then your missing out. This is where you will catch me every Friday and Saterday sitting on a couch watching him dance for me. I've attended several clubs since I moved out to LA, and this by far was the best. Parking was decently cheap compared to some parking lots for other clubs. The cover was only $12, decently lower compared to most clubs that don't serve dinner. I must agree with the others that drinks are expensive, and this can be a problem especially if you like to dance. A drink always sets you straight. That is my only complaint. In regards to the crowd: yes, there are a lot of couples, but there were also decent amounts of single people skirting the dance floor. To address the music: I thought the mix of music to be perfect. There was a great mix of hip hop, techno, dance, latin, and 80's. Altogether, Florentine Gardens is the best club I've been to in Hollywood, and I'm looking forward to going back MANY more times. There are three dance clubs in this club. One has Latino music. Another one has 80's Dance music and Hip-Hop, and the other one I never went into. The drinks here are expensive, and range from 5$ for Corona and 7$ for Tequila shots. They serve food in this place, but I have never had it, but you get it for free if you park in the parking lot. Everything in this club seems really clean, and the dance floor is huge. I have been to this club twice already, and it is not as bad as everyone says it is. The people who are usually complaining are the high maintenance, little princess, bad attitude type girls that sit on there butts the whole time, and never get up and dance. Last weekend I went with all my friends thinking we were going to have a good time, they had told us it was going to be free before 10:00pm. We got there 15 to 10:oopm, they made us stand there until 10:20 and made us pay, we didnt mind but they are liers. more

Oh my god this is the worst club ive ever been to. they played 80's crap all night in the big room and then some latin stuff in the small room. the crowd was sooooo old...NO ONE between 18-25. Do NOT come here if youre lookin for some hott guys...everyone there were couples....Dont waste your time goin here. more

This place is full of cute girls. HOWEVER, the security in florentine gardens feels the need to feel important in their meaningless life. I believe they have a chip in their shoulder and feel the need harrass their customers without any merit. They claim to enforce the dress code when that rule can be bent by giving their poverty ridden lives five dollars. Also, this place forces you to pay for parking even if you did not want to park there. Overall this is a disapointing place, dont waste your money here.
