BEST FLORAL SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY. 7/4/2009

This institute has given me a well rounded approach to floral design. It has also given me a foot forward in this industry far exceeding my expectations. I could not have gone as far as where Iam today without their excellent instructions and hands on approach to design. Futhermore, this institute is my lifeline if I have any questions about Floral Design ,and or questions pertaining to the Floral Industry , they are just a phone call away. \r Many thanks to Leanne & Dave Kesler and their wonderful staff for their hard work, and dedication to the Art of Floral Design.\r \r Mahalo Nui Loa.\r \r Tiare Floral Design\r \r Designer Tomasi Boselawa.(2007 Graduate) Pros: GREAT LOCATION Cons: I WISH WE HAD MORE TIME TO TAKE ALL THEIR CLASSES. more

Wonderful Environment 7/2/2009

The institute is very professional. I had so many small insights into the business, that you just wouldn't get until you learned the hard way. I wasn't sure I had any creative talents, and now I have found I love to do contemporary floral designs and love doing hand tied bouquets. I realized there is more to life than just floral foam, and I not only learned a new career; I fell in love with the staff and the other students. I will know I can always go back and ask for help, or call and the staff will bend over backwards to help me. I opened a full service Florist in Keizer with a Cafe incorporated into the florist. I literally would have failed if I hadn't taken the course. I owe the Floral Design Institute. They taught me everything I needed to know.\r \r Dennis Scott Pros: Help someone with no experience become a winner. Cons: I had to leave when I graduated. more

Happy Graduate, Fantastic School! 7/1/2009

I hope that anyone who is considering a career in Floral Design will look into attending the Floral Design Institute. They have a loving staff that is deeply invested in the education of its students.\r After attending the school, I have gone on to work in a small floral shop, and later manage it, before being recruited by Celebrity Cruise Lines and accepting a position as Floral Director onboard their fleet of ships. Not only has my education from Floral Design Institute enabled me to travel the world, but I have also had the opportunity to learn from internationally famous designers such as Emilio Robba at his boutique on the Rue De Bac in Paris France.\r Floral Design is an interesting and creative career that has found a way to keep someone like me form getting bored everyday at work:)\r I highly recommend getting an education at Floral Design Institute.\r Pros: Attention to students. Exciting curriculum. Cons: They aren't in every city...:) more
