Best

When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deli...

Worst

What seemed to be an upscale, fancy steakhouse, turned out disappointing. The kitchen at Fleming's is exposed to the guests. After 15min, I wished I wasn't sitting ""in the kitche...

A Favorite! 10/4/2005

I frequent the resturant at DC Ranch. Like everything about it. Always a pleasant experience. Pros: Steaks, Drinks, Parking more

WONDERFUL 10/3/2005

I live just outside of Balto. and love FLemings. The food, service, ambience, and especially the wine selection are always wonderful. Each year my husband takes his employees to dinner around the holidays and we go somewhere different every year. Last year we went to Flemmings and had such a great time that his employees voted to go back again this year. Whether we have gone as a group, and had our own private room, or as a couple we have always enjoyed Flemmimgs. Pros: Food, Wine List, Desserts more

We Love Fleming's! 8/27/2005

What a beautiful restaurant! We expected nothing less than a stellar experience and that is exactly what we recieved! Every aspect of our evening was thoughtfully carried out by Fleming's staff. The food is DELICIOUS. The Steaks...where are the words? :) We added an oustanding vegatable combination to compliment and were delighted at the choices-seasoned to perfection. Fleming's is everything a steakhouse should be! Pros: Taste Sensation, Decor Cons: Location more

Interesting dinner spot 8/26/2005

This place can be hit or miss - service is sometimes a bit off. Last trip it was 20 minutes before the waiter even brought water and the place was only about 2/3's full. These kinds of delays were repeated all evening - previous time there this wasn't the case. Food is good but not consistant - tried the Filet (miss one time, sensational the next), my girl hit up the Salmon and thought it was decent. Ambience is very similar to P.F. Changs minus the Chinese Statues - noise level is the same. Wouldn't catagorize this as truly romantic Pros: Food can be great, Wine selection Cons: Service is hit/miss, Not intimate/romantic, Pricy more

Sadly Disapointed with Flemings 7/25/2005

My husband and I went this past Saturday evening to celebrate his birthday. At first glance the menu is impressive due to their extensive wine list. When we asked our server what was in the Creamed Spinach he smugly responded cream and then said he would have to check with the kitchen. For a restaurant that serves the same side dishes everyday you would think the staff would be trained as to the ingredients. We started out with the Flemings salad which was good. Then we both ordered the petit fillets and the Flemings Potatoes and Sauteed Spinach. The fillets could have been warmer and lacked flavor. The potatoes were tasty, but the Sauteed Spinach was WAY overcooked. After a disappointing entree we didn't see any items on the dessert menu that sounded tempting. I have had NUMEROUS meals that were more inventive and better presented. We wont be back. Pros: Wine List Cons: Bland Food, Poorly Presented, Over priced more

Above Average for Sure 7/17/2005

Great service, a little expensive, but probably worth the money Pros: Great food Cons: A little noisy more

DELICIOUS 7/12/2005

Loved it! Visiting from Chicago and was very impressed with the steaks as well as the other items on the menu. Had to wheel us out in a barrel. Ate so much and enjoyed every minute of it!!! Pros: atmosphere more

Satisfactory Dinner 7/12/2005

Just had dinner and I have to say there is something left to be right. It took quite a few minutes for us to even looked at by a server and once there, we ordered the wine vine. The waitress insulted my wife by insinuating that she could not afford the wines that she selected. The wines were of an ok taste, color and age. There were a few acidic wines. The food however could have been better. The lamb chops were small and did not have a good taste to them. My steak seemed thin, even though it was stated that the steak came at 1/2"" cuts. The atmosphere was average. The aviance for romance wasn't there for my wife and I. I would not recommend this steakhouse to anyone that I know. Pros: Wine Cons: Everything else. more

Flemings's Review 6/28/2005

This restaurant is consistantly going down. My suggestion is to review the staff and management. There obviously needs to be a change made. I have dined at this restaurant several times and have been severly disappointed. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. Cons: service, food, ambiance more

Cowboy 6/6/2005

Their bone-in ribeye is the best I've ever tasted.... Can't go wrong with this restaurant. Dan Shelton Nashville, TN Pros: Great Food, Fast Service, Good Atmosphere Cons: A Bit Expensive, N/A , N/A more

A wonderful first date place! 6/5/2005

Had an excellent first date @ Flemings. Great selections and sides to choose from. and impeccable service and valet. Pros: Service, Wine Selection, Steak Preparation more

OVERRATED!! with attitude to boost 5/24/2005

Five of us went there for their special ""prime rib"" dinner. Because we were a group of non-drinkers, the service was borderline hostile. The table next to us had ordered the same specials, but they were given much more attentive treatment. If the food had been great, the service issue could have been overlooked, but it was really nothing to rave about. The sides were greasy and the creamed corn looked and tasted like corn chowder. Save your money and go to any number of better restaurants in LA. Pros: Ambience, Free parking Cons: RUDE service, Food more

Fleming's a Wonderful Dinner Celebration 5/14/2005

We have dined at Fleming's on at least 5 occasions in the past 3 years. Each time we have had a wonderful experience. This past Saturday we made reservations for 8 and again we had the most wonderful dinner and service you could ask for.The staff was friendly and attentive as always. The Steaks and Lobster were fantastic, cooked just as we requested. The Mac and Cheese and Fleming's Potatoes were creamy, hot, and out of this world. The dessert we chose to share was the Lava Cake. All I can say is you have to try it. When we asked for the check the Managing Partner without our knowledge picked up the birthday girl's complete dinner ( My Wife) as a Thank You for visiting his restaurant over the last 3 years. What more can I say. Thank You Fleming's you are a class act. Pros: The Service, The Food, Great Wines Cons: Always Crowded, Alittle Noisy more

Great food and service, no matter the location! 4/23/2005

My bf and I went there for our anniversary and my birthday while on vacation. He had never been there before, but I have to two other locations and the level of service and quality food are consistently superb. We did something fun and shared two appetizers, a salad, a filet mignon and dessert. It was just right. If you like key lime pie, this is definitely the place to get it. more

Another flawless evening... 4/3/2005

I lost a bet to my husband, and had to buy him dinner at Fleming's on Saturday. This was the reward because we truly think it is the best restaurant in Nashville. Take it for what it is: sleek and masculine, but romantic and impeccable. It had been months since we'd last been, but the restaurant greeted us like a very cosmopolitan old friend. Flawless service, fabulous food, and wonderfully icy martinis (and the great wine pairing suggestions) make Fleming's a perennial standout. We'd recommend anyone! Pros: Great service, Welcoming atmosphere, Fabulous food & wine more

Excellent steak, but a bit overseasoned 3/28/2005

I'm a steak snob and while I won't differentiate between the greatest steaks, I will seperate the good from the bad (and ugly!) Fleming's is an All-American steakhouse. I ordered the bone-in ribeye which weighed in at a hefty 22-oz and my date had the regular ribeye (16oz). It was delicious although a bit oversalted. A good steak does not need to be seasoned to death to bring out the flavor. One thing I like about Flemings are the side dishes which are presented with a twist. I had creamed corn accented with parmesan cheese and garlic, simply awesome! The 'Flemings potatoes' are also a new take on classic mashed with cheddar cheese and jalapeno peppers adding a real Southwestern flair. The only downside was eating on the patio and having a bunch of wannabe rejects from ""The O.C."" come and smoke right next to us. Pros: Awesome food, Hefty portions, Ambience Cons: 4 ($), not 2, "OC" crowds more

What a wonderful dining experience! 3/24/2005

I came here for dinner with my wife and the food and service was outstanding. I had a filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The waiter was very prompt and knowledgeable. more

Great food but bring your mastercard (tm) !!! 3/8/2005

Prime ribeye and Prime bone in New York strip are fantastic. Lamb chops are a must as well. If you like seafood, the Wild Alaskan salmon fileta and tuna mignon are real treats as well. Over 100 wines to choose from. Now that's the good news. The bad news, everything is pricey. But, if your at Flemings, you aren't there for a cheap meal. The ambiance and quality of the food bring me back. Pros: Great food, Good wine selection, Great service Cons: Pricey more

The worst experience at a restaurant EVER 2/21/2005

The Fleming's Management and service is the most awful experience I've ever had. Although we had made reservations and arrived early, the management had given away our table. We had to wait 45 minutes without an explanation or an apology. When they finally came to talk with us, they were very smug and rude. The half heartedly tried to appease us and made no real attempt to compensate for the event. Worst of all, they never even made another table ready. I strongly recommend anyone from eating here. This is Austin, not some jerk town where managers don't care about customers. more

Great spot 2/19/2005
