Firestone Car Wash

Good: $8.99 for a hand car wash.. Bad: They charged me $11.99 and that was after I said "no wax" (which was included in the $8.99 price). They did not wash my car well enough to remove an obvious layer of dirt. When I showed them the car was still dirty, they started wiping the dirt into the paint instead of washing it again. I specifically told them NO CHEMICALS on my wheels because they have a clear coat on them. I had to stop them from spraying a solvent on the wheels. Frustrated, I left after half a car wash with dirty wheels and windows.. Improvements: New ownership/management. Other: If you like your car like I do (I only allow hand washing of my Jaguar) don't take it here. They are too busy to do the job right and the people doing the work don't speak English well enough to take direction. There is so many car wash places in downey but not all are good. This car wash is one that I recommend. I have always had pleasent experiences here. My car is well taken care of and is always cleaned super well. The guys that work here are really nice!! more
