Firestone Complete Auto Care

I took my car to several dealers with little success diagnosing my ongoing problem. Then I got referred to woodfield Firestone by a friend and they had my vehicle diagnosed in less than 1 hour. Extremely satisfied don't plan on going anywhere else for service. more

I had a fuel filter replaced at Woodfield Schaumburg Firestone, and I asked the mechanic if he replaced the plastic clips that hold the lines in place. He said both clips were replaced with new clips. I got my car back and inspected it myself. One of the clips looked old. A couple days later I went to a different firestone and asked them to check it. They confirmed it was an old (original) clip, so they changed it for me real quick (nothing had to be taken apart, it was very easy). Everything was rechecked, and the car returned to me (no charge). I contacted the manager at the Schaumburg location to discuss my concerns about being lied to by his mechanic, and the manager became defensive and rude. I went to the Schaumburg store, and the manager would not even meet/talk with me. So I spoke to the only remaining mechanic at Schaumburg that I like/trust and explained everything to him... gave him the clip, and asked him to show it to the manager since he wouldn't talk to me. This whole experience was very upsetting. Me, my brother, parents, 1 neighbor, and any friends I referred to them in the past will not be going to the Schaumburg firestone anymore. All they had to do was tell me they reused a clip (not lie), or get a new clip (less than $1). They lost at least 5 customers for lying about a cheap plastic clip and of course the rude customer treatment. I was a customer for over 3 years. This was my 3rd and last bad experience with the Woodfield Schaumburg location. In my personal opinion, if you value your vehicle... do not go to this shop. more

It a great place to go if you have all day. I went there for my auto repairs and oil changes when I worked 3rd shift and when the managers there they work in a timely manner. I went for a oil change in the afternoon, was told it would be 45 mins. to an hour and the mechanic that was doing the quick lube decided to take someone elses work order before mine after I was waiting there for 35 mins. If you plan on going, go in the morning or have all day to spend and go shopping at woodfield mall. more

I was just here this morning to get my car's brake pads changed. I had a mixed experience here. The overall work they did was great. My brakes are like brand new now! BUT, I did go through some hassles. For one, I was waiting for about 3 hours. Thank god for the mall across the street! Then, the mechanic recommended services that i know for fact that my car did not need because I had JUST had them done at the dealership. So watch out for that! Also, they charged me $25 for an "inspection" that I had never asked for. So, the service you will get done here will be good, but it will take a LONG time and you also need to keep your eye open for scams!! more

Firestone gets their work done fast and efficiently plus they don't charge too much. Also, they always have coupons and different deals coming the papers so be sure to be checking for those. Other than that, they are really friendly and, if you want, they drop you off at home when you drop your car off to be fixed which is very convenient. more

Firestone has good service but it takes too long. Also the waiting room needs to be cleaned up a little and the employees need to work a little faster than they do. more
