I needed two tires and an alignment. I did a ton of research on tires trying to find the highest quality lowest cost tire available, I found a tire on the Firestone website that was inexpensive and had a ton of positive reviews on multiple websites, so I decided on that one obviously! I drove to the Firestone shop near my house and was informed the tires I wanted were out of stock in my size, and IF they could be special ordered it would be another 5 days. I was ready to walk out the door at that point, the next cheapest tire they had in stock was $40 more, I work at a grocery store every dollar counts! The employee ended up discounting the next tire up about $25 each and took $20 off the alignment, so the cost ended up about the same so I ended up with a higher quality tire at a great price. I don't know if this is something they do for everyone or not, but either way it sold me on them as where I'll be buying tires from now on. more

POOR SERVICE READ ON 12/24/2010

This firestone is expensive,to much playing around and seems they are paid by commission since they try to hard for selling more mechanical work.I would recommended to research how much the cost is for the parts and how much they charge for the labor.Research more

Great bunch of guys there, Marc, Ryan, Jeff, and Jason.\r The techs are nice and informative as well!!\r The old opinions were from the old staff, look at the dates!?!?!?!\r \r Anyways I dont usually write about a place, but these guys definitely deserve any and all the praise I can give them! Good service, reliable 7/13/2006

We've taken four different cars to this shop for service and tires. We have had bad experiences with other shops in Austin, and these guys have consistently taken good care of us, given us breaks on cost, and done what they've said they'd do. PROS: Price, service, consistency CONS: more

Avoid if possible 3/4/2006

Staff is dishonest. Quotes they give you on part pricing may be 3 times what the part actually costs at an auto part place. Other firestones are no better, in my experience. If at all possible, avoid them and use someone else. more

Ripping People 11/11/2005

I had very bad exp with Firestone@parmer. I just went to get the State inspection done, ended up spending $80 to get the certificate. Their service is very very bad and charge customers very high. Ripping customers. I wont recommend it. more

Don't shop here for tires 5/28/2005

We bought tires from them and they went flat from a manufacturer's defect. When we went back, they charged us to fix it. Then they told us they shouldn't have fixed it, they should have replaced it, because the traction was bad. They said it would last a few months. Had they told us, before they fixed it, we would have just replaced it, and payed $20.00 bucks more. Now were going to have to replace that tire again, so we wasted money on fixing it! more
