I was pretty disappointed with the service I received here. First of all, I had everything I needed put together and the packing slip all ready - I just needed to drop it off. The wait, with one person in front of me, was already a few minutes. C'mon now, there was only one other customer in the store. I was passed off from one clerk to the assistant manager, because she obviously did not know how to accept a pre-posted package. The Asst-Mgr stated that the box wasn't fully sealed (sides of the flap) and I needed to buy some tape from them ($4) or pay them to put tape on it ($3). MY LOCAL FEDEX-KINKO'S WOULD HAVE DONE THIS FOR FREE. She continues saying that it varies from store to store and refused to ship my box unless I paid the store directly IN ADDITION TO having already paid postage.
THEY MADE ME PAY THREE DOLLARS TO HAVE THEM PUT TWO 6-INCH STRIPS OF TAPE ON MY BOX!! FOR GOD'S SAKE, ISN'T THIS IS A COPY-SHIPPING CENTER?
I will likely not be going back to them and I am considering changing shipping carriers for my small business as well as endorsing others not to use FedEx - or at least not this location which is into the business of nickel-and-diming customers rather than providing CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Cons: Poor customer service, ripoff
