Faust Park has many activities through out the year for children including festivals, history tours, puppet shows, carousel rides and more. Most people know the Butterfly house but there is so much more to do at the park!! Another reviewer mentioned the summer concert series as the only thing to do there but what able the carousel, walking trails, festivals and play ground? If that was the only thing they found to do in this great park they they weren't looking well enough!! Every September they bring history to west county with their Folk Festival and in October there is a hayride tour. There are events for children going on in the carousel it seems weekly as well as many events in the Butterfly House. The park is also one of the best maintained parks in the area and gives off a safe feeling as there are always staff around during the week. I have brought my young nieces to this park for years and they love the Carousel and butterfly house as well as exploring the village, trails and nature. Great place for picnics!! Wonderful public bathroom near the playground (an odd thing for a park!!)!!!
