I have been a client of Ashleys for more than 5 years. I have had many people ask me who does my hair and they all end up going to Ashley and love her as much as I do. When it came time for my wedding there was no other person that I would want to do my hair and make up. Five years later she did my sister in laws for her wedding. She is amazing, creative and very talented. I can't say enough about Ashley. Also, I followed her from another Salon and Farouche is so much better than any other palce I have been. They are friendly and always get me right in and out on time. more

I have been going to Farouche Salon in Redmond for a few years now and absolutely love their service! They are so friendly and efficient. I followed my amazing Hair Stylist, Ashley there and have been using her for 5 years now. I am always happy with my results and trust her completely to change it up when need be. I have never had to wait and always get out right on time. I don't think I've been to a more credible salon nor a more experienced stylist like, ""Ashley""! I had no issue or problem with my stylist until she took a leave. The front desk could not understand that I was calling from out of the country and the problem with dropped calls was too much for them to handle. Bottom line, I was told to call back and talk to the owner who only told me too much information about my stylist and her family which was none of my business and then I had to hear about his problems with scheduling all her clients. Frankly, I don't care about his scheduling problems. I wanted my hair colored not a verbal rampage of the salons problems. Keep your private life to yourself or it may be shared without your knowledge and don't call from out of the country. After leaving the salon, I was given a formula that would have ruined my hair. Thank God my new stylist knew it was wrong and ignored it. This management team needs to listen rather than ramble and not talk about it's stylists and the salons problems and concern themselves with making their clients happy when problems arise. Does Privacy Act mean anything to them?? more

This is a great, easily accessible salon in Redmond. The atmosphere is upbeat and busy. My two boys and I go to Rachel and we are always pleased. The boys have two different hair types and styles and they are always pleased with their cuts. Rachel colors and cuts my hair and is always spot on for style and color. She is knowledgeable and has an knack for current styles. I agree with the previous reviewer in their Salon 7 experience. Having tried Salon 7 twice, they were stuck up and overpriced for a mediocre cut . Totally different experience at Salon Farouche. I would recommend Rachel and this salon to anyone. I went to Rachel for the first time earlier this month, and I will continue going to her. She is awesome! She was very personal and actually cared about what I wanted done with my hair. She was patient enough to let me look through hair magazines to find my perfect style! I left the salon confident and happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Rachel was great. She was a great change from the stuck up stylist at Salon 7 in Bellevue or Gene Juarez. She was soft spoken but sweet and polite. She made both me and my wife feel like she geniunely understood what we wanted. But she was also comfortable enough to make suggestions given her experience in her field. \r \r To make this easily long review about how awesome she was short....\r \r Salon Farouche is professional, clean, warm, busy, and trendy. The receptionists are polite and very helpful. Rachel Bennett was amazing. After her haircut, I felt very confident, enough that I wore suits to work for the next couple days just because I felt like a million bucks. My wife was so happy with her hair as was I. She got a color and a cut and it looked amazing. She got compliments everyday. We look forward to when our hair needs another service because Rachel was such a joy. more

I have been a customer of Salon Farouche for years, the owner, Michael has been cutting my hair for 30 years and I trust no other to my hair cuts but him! Luke cuts my son's hair, the other Michael colors my hair.\r \r The atmosphere is positive and upbeat, the hairstylists are experienced, creative, professionals. The owner sets clear quality and training expectations for all employees and is tied into European and NYC networks for employee training opportunities. The stylists are up-to-date on the newest trends from the hair fashion meccas. My hair guy left me for San Diego, and I spent years trying to find someone who could help me with my fine hair. Then I found Farouche! There are many awesome stylists there...you honestly cannot go wrong. Explain your hair to the receptionists, and they will point you in the right direction. Farouche ROCKS!! Until I met Joelle I have never gone to a stylist more than once or twice and only had my hair cut maybe once a year. I have been seeing Joelle for 21/2 years and get my hair cut every 5 weeks. I will NEVER let anyone else touch my hair again. I have unusually thick corse hair and a lot of sylists don't know how to work with it or don't take the time to understand how my hair reacts when styled or cut a certain way.......well along came Joelle she introduced me to new products that have softened my hair, her cutting techniques have enhanced my hair styles and she scolds me if I run out of product and don't reload soon enough. I highly recommend Joelle to everyone I meet and don't meet. If you want a stylist that cares remembers you and takes the time to know what you want.......Joelle is the one for you. I love her! more

I love Shannon and Joelle. They're the best!! \r \r I've gone to Shannon since she first started at Farouche. She's the best color tech I've ever been to. She's willing to try new things and give you her honest opinion, which is great considering some stylists try and talk you out of what you'd like to do or end up pressuring you into what they'd like to do with your hair. I've asked Shannon to do some pretty crazy things with my hair, and she's always up for a challenge. I can give her a basic idea of what I'd like and tell her to just do whatever she thinks is best. Trusting your colorist is huge! I always know that I'll get something fun and unique to my style.\r \r I started seeing Joelle for cut a few years later after the Farouche I originally went to closed and Shannon transferred to the Redmond location. I've tried many stylists at Farouche and other salons, and while they were all good, none of them have measured up to Joelle. Joelle says it like it is and will work with you to get the cut you want, but also the cut that looks best on you and works with your lifestyle. She's told me before that she doesn't like to do the same cut over and over again, which I really appreciate. Her artistic abilities help create a unique cut every time. I've never been disappointed. Joelle has also done my color and she does a great job. \r \r I get so many compliments on my cut and color and everyone I know that's ever been to Farouche has been very impressed that such a small salon has such great stylists. Change your boyfriend, change your hair. Joelle is talented and artistic. I know that when I show up needing a change, she updates me and I look even better than the last time she did my hair. Her skill in making my hair extensions blend in to my hair gave me new confidence. My hair would not grow past my shoulders! So now I have this thick gorgeous long hair that I love!! Salon Farouche offers exceptional services while providing a relaxing environment and great service. I have gotten a lot of my girlfriends to go to the salon and like me they have not been anywhere since. I have been to quite a few salons when I first moved here. Leaving behind my beloved stylist in Denver, I thought I would never find a stylist that I loved again. I tried every stylist at Salon Rebecca and quite a few at Gene Juarez in Redmond Town Center. Finally, after asking two different people with great cuts where they went, I was told of Farouche. They have little turnaround and it's really an upbeat place. I love that it is so relaxes and the staff really listens.
