I saw Dr. Bauer in 2010 for breast augmentation because my friend had one done by him 10 years ago and she still looks FABULOUS and she told me I had to come see him. My consultation was very personable and really fun. Everyone was so relaxed, which eased my nerves about having surgery. I was nervous about having surgery because I had previous breast surgeries from another surgeon years before and unfortunately they didn?t turn out the way I had hoped and I had to have multiple revisions. For that reason, I was nervous that the same thing would happen again and I would be back where I started, unable to look at myself in the mirror. Being in the medical industry I was very skeptical of physicians and even more apprehensive to have surgery, much less elective. I had breast augmentation done by Dr Bauer and I am extremely pleased with the results, he is phenomenal and a true artist in his work. It looks completely natural AND proportional to my body. I contacted The Swan Center for a breast lift, augmentation, and a tummy tuck. Dr. Bauer completed my procedure and there is not enough good that I can say about him or his staff. From my first phone call, the entire process was a wonderful one. Dr. Bauer is a talented surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner and in my experience was more than willing to take time to answer all of my questions and concerns. On the day of my surgery, everyone, including Dr. Bauer and the anesthesiologist, took the time to talk to me. They addressed my concerns and put me at ease. They even called my husband halfway through surgery to give him an update on my condition and to let him know how things were progressing. Dr. Bauer called me at home the night of my surgery, and one of his nurses called to check on me the following day. My follow-up visits have been just as wonderful as the rest of the experience - just like before the procedure, Dr. Bauer takes the time to talk to me and address any concerns or questions that I have. Every nurse that I have encountered at The Swan Center has been kind, caring, and professional. As a patient I was treated with exceptional care and kindness by Dr. Bauer and his staff. Dr. Bauer's staff were warm and friendly and put me completely at ease. Dr. Bauer spent a lot of time with me and was very thorough in explaining my upcoming surgery. He answered all of my questions and discussed all options open to me. I underwent breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Bauer a few years ago and could not be more pleased with the outcome! From start to finish, the entire experience really was a dream. I had performed my research, gone on several consultations and ultimately decided to proceed with surgery at the Swan Center. Dr. Bauer is very patient with you, listening to your concerns and answering all your questions. He and his staff truly eased my nerves throughout the whole thing. I wanted to give this place a chance since I heard some decent things about them, however Miranda? the coordinator was VERY RUDE on the phone and she also made and canceled several appointments. I think new customers aren't her priority. Her attitude offended me so much that I decided to look into other options. All my friends and clients have fake breasts and I've always been skeptical about realistic plastic surgery. When I finally fell into some money, my research began with all of the doctors whose work on my friends I had seen. Two friends and their mother had recommended Dr. Bauer and the Swan Center staff. Upon visting other doctors at their unwelcoming facilities and nonchalant staffs, my search ended when I met Dr. Bauer and his nurses and financial staff. My consulation lasted almost 2 hours where all my questions were answered and fittings were done. Never once did I feel rushed or like they felt entitled to my coming there. I booked my surgery later in the year and I am currently 4 months post op. I love the way I look and I can tell everytime I visit that the staff cares and consistently follows up on my well being. My experience with Dr. Bauer was very positive. When I met him, I had already checked around and met with other doctors. The first thing that struck me was that he came across as very genuine. And that?s not just me ? I?ve heard a lot of his patients say the same thing. IMHO, he was a caring and considerate doctor, with a wonderful bedside manner. I felt like I was in very good hands right from the start, and I could see why he came highly recommended. I also thought his staff, especially the nurses, were very caring. Breast Augumention - Once they get your money they have nothing to do with you anymore. Nurses are the only ones who see you after your surgery. Doctor never returns phone calls. Leaves you with bad results and a large fee to fix them. I was told he was the best doctor in town and that just wasnt true in my case. Pros: Recovery was a breeze. No nausia at all. Cons: Only seeing the nurses after surgery and never getting phone calls returned. Asking for a large amount to fix the problem. more
