We just purchased a new dining set a few weeks ago from Far Fetched. We'd visited a few other places with great stuff, but it was just out of my price range. Far Fetched was a pleasant surprise. The peices looked great and we were able to find a table and chairs that we loved. We were helped by Charlie who was nice in balancing the 'there when you need him, gone when you don't' style of service that I like. We didn't want the floor model, so he arranged for us to see another set the following weekend. The pieces were all there as promised. We picked them up on our own and were glad that things were wrapped well. Two weeks later my dining set was on sale. I called Far Fetched and they refunded the difference and gave me some great tips on where to find some furnishings that they didn't carry. Overall I found them to be friendly and helpful and we will certainly be going back. You want color, drama, quality, good service, etc.? I found it here and sorry to hear about the last person who did not get their order in time. I purchased furniture over a year ago and it is great. I get compliments on a regular basis. I am completely happy about my purchases. On top of that, I bought a mattress set at their other store-also a good experience-no smarmy mattress types as there can be at other large stores. I will go back, send friends and continue to marvel at their sales and displays. I have purchased at both stores. Pros: Lively assortmetnt of products Cons: Website could have more in it. more

I was promised that my new leather couch and chairs would arrive in 8-10 weeks. I made it clear that I needed the furniture for a wedding reception, and I was reassured that we had plenty of time. I called 8 weeks later, and they told me that the furniture would get there "tomorrow." 4 weeks later I still didn't have my furniture. To their credit, they let me borrow their showroom furniture for the wedding and gave me a $600 discount. BUT, the whole experience was very unpleasant, and I felt that I had to call them every day so that they would do something about it (and my guests had somewhere to seat!). If you are in a hurry to get furniture, do not trust their 8-10 week promise! Pros: Nice original furniture Cons: Bad service more

The worst customer service and purchasing experience I have ever had! I purchased a large order of over $4000 worth of furniture on May 2nd 2007. For the exception of a couple of chairs my order was in stock and was told that the chairs would be in later in May. It is now July 16th and I am still awaiting my chairs.

I have called the store numerous times over the past two and a half months getting updates on my order. Have had 4 separate phone conversations where the person said they would check and call me back in 10 minutes, and there was no call back, even when I was talking to management. All of the other calls have concluded with, "well not sure about your order, sorry. Try calling back next week to see if they are in." Just found out today that the shipment came in last week but they gave all the chairs out to the wrong people who's orders were after ours.

I can deal with late orders as long as I am informed and problems are corrected. I will never purchase from this store again based solely on the nightmare of customer service. Pros: Great looking furniture Cons: Worst customer service I have ever had even from management personel more

Far Fetched is a wonderland. Good buying, good display and reasonable prices with as another reviewer stated, "non pushy" sales people. Great eye and trendy but in a classy way. Fresh way of display and the quality of the merchandise is good. Have not been in the Lynwood store but have been told to go there. My experiences there have been fabulous and I am impressed with my purchases. I have turned so many people on to this place. Far Fetched is always a fun place to stop in to see whats new. You can buy furniture for your bedroom or living room or just get a one of a kind piece. They get new containers in every week from China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. The nice thing is Far Fetched has designs made for them that can't be found anywhere else. They also carry contempory designs that are easy to use in your home and then spice it up with an ethnic piece. I have a dining table from them that came from India that is beautiful solid Indian rosewood. It looks great in my house. They also have a store in Lynnwood near the Alderwood Mall that is big, looks different but still has all the great choices. If you love to travel and have eclectic taste in furniture, you'll love this store. They have a great mix of unique import pieces and standard furniture with a cultural flair. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very helful. I went in SO MANY times to look for ideas BEFORE we moved into our new house & had a staff member help me (same guy each time), knowing I wouldn't be purchasing that day...he wasn't pushy & he was always helpful. He even told me when there would be a sale coming up on the furniture I wanted, so I could wait & get the discount. What an adventure just walking into this store! It has everything from the conventional to the most beautiful interesting one of a kind pieces you can imagine. I always find what I'm looking for when I go to Far Fetched but then I always walk away with so many more ideas on what I could do with my space. I usually work on a budget and don't have to worry about the sticker shock here - very reasonable pricing. The sales people are very helpful too.
