I thought Fantastic Sam's was only for haircuts...but they have a lot more services. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed (thankfully, it didn't even hurt), and I got a conditioning treatment. The conditioning treatment was really great...it's been two weeks and my hair still looks and feels healthier. I haven't tried getting my hair colored there, but I may give it a try next time I go there. Overal, it really is budget friendly, and they offer quite a bit of services for the whole family. Ok...I'm used to paying lots of money to get my hair done at this shi-shi salon I used to go to all the time. I would get color, highlights, cut and blowdry done. I read the reviews for this Fantastic Sam's at Simi Valley, and I decided to be brave and give it a try. Ok...I was really impressed. My hair looked exactly like I had gotten it done at my usuall high-end salon, BUT the cost was a fraction of what I usually paid. I will definately go back to this salon. The service was quite good. They offered me coffee, and had a wide array of mag's to read. If you're looking to save money, yet get great quality, then I strongly suggest giving this place a try. I went to this chain (and location in particular) not really expecting much except an average service. However, I was quite impressed upon entering the door... the receptionist was warm and friendly when she greeted me... once my name was called, my stylist gave me a friendly smile as she led me to her station... and get this, she was genuinely interested in talking to me and what I wanted instead of just the usual value salons stylists that want to just sell you a bunch of crap so they can get commission!! The products she recommended have actually worked quite well for me. I will definitely be going back to this location as a regular customer from now on. I was skeptical about going to Fantastic Sams to get my hair done, but a friend of mine said she had gone to the salon in Simi Valley for Color, Highlights, cut and blowdry, and it came out to under $100, and her hair looked awesome. So, I tried it. I was amazed at how informative the staff was, and was amazed that my hair turned out exactly like I wanted. Staff was great and friendly, and you CAN'T beat the prices.
