When I went here, it was a very good experience. The layout of the restaurant is very cool, and it feels like a real BBQ restaurant. It was a bit messy to eat the food, but I was very impressed with the quality of the food. The prices arn't too bad, and the lines went very quickly. I would definetly go there again. more

Great food, great music 7/29/2005

Life can't get any better than Famous Daves's in Uptown! The food is fantastic, from the standard BBQ ribs to their soups...all is fantastic! The mood in the restaurant is very laid back and enjoyable. In the evening stop in for some live music and drink specials. Great place to meet up for just dinner or for a night out with a group of friends. more

There is a reason this was ranked #1 place to eat out with kids! 6/16/2005

This is an excellent place to feed your family. Mpls/St.Paul magazine named Famous Dave's #1 place to eat out with kids and I agree! We have taken our young daughter here many times in her short life. She loves eating there, she can be noisy, eat lots of food and have a great time! We find that this is a reasonable place to eat with great food, good prices, and family friendly all around. This is an excellent place to let our hair down and have a good time as a family. more
