Good family bingo 5/27/2011

I've been going to this family bingo since last year. My family and i really enjoy it. The only thing this FB needs to work on is keeping the restrooms clean or they either need to put some air freshners. Another thing their food is really good but i think they should add healthier foods to their menu like salads or something. Most of their food is fried. more

Prettiest and Friendliest Staff in Houston!!!! 9/2/2008

I have been going to Family Bingo for several years, and I must say that they have the most AWESOME staff I have ever encountered at a bingo hall. They are young, pretty, friendly and very knowledgable. They always make my bingo experience fun and unforgetable with their dress-up theme nights and friendly personlalities. I just wanted to give them a good review and tell those girls great job!!!! You put up with a lot and still do it with a smile on your face. If you are looking for a fun, smoke-free environment to play bingo in, I recommend Family Bingo and their staff. They don't get the props that they deserve. Good work ladies, keep it up!!!! Pros: Friendly, pretty staff more

Fun, Inexpensive, & Great FOOD! 7/7/2008

This place is awesome! After discovering it a year ago, I am hooked! It is a place you can take your spouse, your kids (must be 7), or your grandmother! Only thing that is kinda bad is you have to be quiet but, thats so the caller can hear the bingos, but other than that I love it! I love $1 nights and love the fact that I can spend $6 and win $700...and I did a couple of weeks ago. My husband won a pulltab game for $599. We would reccomend this bingo hall to anyone and EVERYONE! Its so popular it gets crowded, so get there early for a good seat...GOOD LUCK on winning your very own game! Pros: Service, Food, Price Cons: Quiet more

Honestly Run from this place!!!! 7/3/2008

I take many people with me to many Bingo halls on a weekly basis. This is the most rude non friendly people i have ever dealt with. The have no respect for you as a patron of the hall. In my thinking i like going to a fun energetic place to have a good time. The two lead girls there are two of the most non professional people i have ever dealt with. After going there an than asking around at other halls i found this is more than just me thinking this way. I understand being quiet during bingo games so they can hear you yell BINGO. Come on though who wants to spend hundreds of bucks an not be allowed to enjoy yourself. The caller whomever it may be can be very harsh about the way they say too much talking. I think they forget who is spending the money there. Awkward enough you can go just a bit farther over in town an try Wonderland Bingo whom is owned by the same people an plays with the same games an you will find a completely different atmosphere. Down to earth an friendly people who are there to have a good time with you an help in any way they can. Back to the point though for a place called Family Bingo i would hate to bring my Family to such a dreadful an boring place to have a good time. I think the real kicker for me was when the Poor one who thrives on her little rules walked over to my mother who had brought in a cup from outside with her drink in had it sitting on the table an this lady picked it up through it in the trash. End of story. Sadly enough what she didn't know was my mother has a disease that makes her very sick an very dehydrated she walks with a cup non stop with a special drink for her kidneys. This lady not taking the time to find anything threw away an left nothing more to be said. I understand rules i understand having to abide rules but i also understand for every rule there are special situations. Try asking a few question first next time. Bottom line GO WONDERLAND WITH your FRIENDLY STAFF. Cons: Poor service more

Least favorite bingo hall. 3/20/2008

I find it unusual that a place that is called Family Bingo forbids children under the age of seven. We were turned away because of my child, although there was no sign anywhere stating their policy (signs for No Smoking nor outside beverages and food were posted). I found the place on the internet, and looked everywhere to make sure it was non smoking and child friendly, yet ""Family"" Bingo refused our business. I have frequented many Bingo halls, both strict and unstrict, and I was allowed entrance, with child. ""Family"" Bingo is at the bottom of the list, and either they need to post ALL of their policies or change their name! Pros: Cheap more

Awesome Bingo Hall!! 10/11/2007

This place is a blast! My friends and I went on a Friday and it was so cheap (it was $1 night) I got all my cards for each game for $4...we got some pitchers of beer and had so much fun. I thought it would be a dirty place with alot of older people, but there were more youger than old. The had a full cafe with great food and the place was clean, and the girls that work there were so nice and you could tell the regular customers really like them. We go back atleast once a month, one of the people with us actually won a $600 game, not too bad for spending $4...I reccomend this place to all ages and all types of people! Pros: Food, Prices, People, Atmosphere Cons: It is quiet in the hall during games, but thats ok... more

be careful! 7/19/2006

I must admit that I was extremely disappointed with Family Bingo Center. The announcer sits in the smoking section along with the workers (majority of the time), so when people in the non-smoking section need help or even have a bingo, they are not always heard. My experience there almost led to a riot between the workers and the non-smoking section when I called out ""Bingo"" as loud as I could and thought they heard me, but they were referring to a person in the Smoking Section. Apparently this situation has happened before and I would estimate there were about 100 very unhappy witnesses, many of which stated they were calling the Texas Lottery Association. To make matters worse, there are a handful of unethical and uneducated 20-something girls running the business (at least while I was there) and they are unwilling to listen to problems that may have come up during the game. The girls told me they are the closest bingo place in Houston, which allows them to treat their customers poorly. more
