I loved it here! I've never been to a resort more peaceful. The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday, the spa was excellent, I have never been treated so well, well, maybe never is too generous, the Four Seasons Troon North is excellent too. more

Stunning -- but isolated 7/31/2002

The large rooms and posh facilities are absolutely top-notch -- and the staff goes out of their way to help. The only drawback is that the hotel is so isolated -- it's a couple of miles to get anywhere. So, you're stuck with dining at one of the fine restaurants (or room service) and they're all rather pricey. Pros: Bargain summer rates Cons: Not close to anything, No work-desk in room more

The golf course is a five minute drive, but it is the renowned Tournament Players Club. There are plenty of bars and sitting areas to relax and check out the people. The prices can be a bit steep, so consider a summer visit to get the most for your money. Pros: Location, Food, Luxury Cons: Expensive, Labrynth more
