You'll never want to go home. 10/29/2008

I loved it here! I've never been to a resort more peaceful. The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday, the spa was excellent, I have never been treated so well, well, maybe never is too generous, the Four Seasons Troon North is excellent too. more

Stunning -- but isolated 7/31/2002

The large rooms and posh facilities are absolutely top-notch -- and the staff goes out of their way to help. The only drawback is that the hotel is so isolated -- it's a couple of miles to get anywhere. So, you're stuck with dining at one of the fine restaurants (or room service) and they're all rather pricey. Pros: Bargain summer rates Cons: Not close to anything, No work-desk in room more

To truly experience the desert setting, this is the place. The rooms are absolutely luxurious with truly spacious bathrooms. The grounds provide all the amenities -- pools everywhere, a laguna, several restaurants and a top-rated golf course. If you get the chance, eat at The Grill. The eucalyptus steam room and Vichy shower are an excellent finish to any of the spa treatments (I recommend the hot rock massage). The golf course is a five minute drive, but it is the renowned Tournament Players Club. There are plenty of bars and sitting areas to relax and check out the people. The prices can be a bit steep, so consider a summer visit to get the most for your money. Pros: Location, Food, Luxury Cons: Expensive, Labrynth more
