I used to pass by Tom & Tiny's frequently, but I never actually went inside to eat until a few years ago, and I was impressed, to say the least. Pros: Great food and service Cons: Looks a bit dingy more

It's as if you were travelling crosscountry and pulled over at a cafe in Muskogee, OK or Joplin, MO. Not only is the menu pure Middle America (home style with emphasis on the South---they serve grits, for God's sake!), but the wait personnel is truly authentic. Good, clean food and like yo mama used to fix served by lovely, ladies who could be yo mama. more

The service is a welcome in itself. The prepared meals are very homelike. And you are fed a good serving on your plate. Pros: atmosphere, politeness, promptness Cons: neighborhood, outside of building more
